The manager is incompetent and unable to help with anything. Very argumentative and unprofessional. Ive been calling for 2 months leaving voicemails for a call back to set up an appointment. After calling and speaking with the manager for the second time she gave me the runaround saying the receptionist that books appointments is only there wednesdays that she couldnt help me. The time before that she said monday.

Chavkin the butcher placed 4 implants in my mouth back in 2015 and all four had to be removed . The whole process from start to finish was one no one should endure . When I had my consultation for the implants I felt he had an arrogance and cockiness to him but because my dentist highly recommended him I ignored it ( lessened learned) . I later learned after he removed the implants that the implants should never have been placed due to not having enough bone and he never did a bone graft prior to the procedure. I have been permanently traumatized by this butchers lack of empathy , ruffness when yanking the implants out of my mouth and throwing his tool on the table tray . My only advice for myself and others while searching for an oral surgeon is to go by your gut instinct .

Horrible dentist. I went for an extraction. He did he was extraction, bone graft and implant in one visit. Needless to say it did not take and needed to be removed. He was pissed off that it had to be removed, took it out extremely roughly, and did not prescribe an antibiotic or pain meds. I developed sinusitis as a result and Sven weeks later I am still healing! Stay away.

I had a great experience with Dr Ross,Chavkin yesterday.I had a,wisdom tooth pulled out and a,second decayed tooth pulled at same time.He is very thorough and felt he took his time to assess my case because cuz it was a difficult wisdom tooth.with nerves wrapped around the tooth. But after a,3D dental scan Dr Chavkin was,able to decide to just take the top of the tooth/crown off out .This was the original plan.I give God the glory honor and praise for working thru the wisdom mind and God s steering of Doctor Chafkins hand's to complete a successful procedure of 2 seperate tooth extractions at same time and was able to take whole of wisdom tooth out instead of just the top/crown. out.
I barely felt the needle going in to administer the anesthesia to get put to sleep (the lady before me also had tooth pulled it appearred with novacane and she came out quickly and very bright and happy and charming and couldnt beleive she just had a tooth pulled.
It was amazing to see this for me as I was filled with anxiety
The office staff girls especially assisting were all very friendly and polite.I was in the Huntington office
The office was immaculately clean.I had to wait a week for appointment even tho I was in pain but the doctor put me on a strong antibiotic that did its work profeciently killing and clearing the infection up.Thats the only thing I would recommend is if your tooth is starting to bother you dont put it off like I did
I found many oral surgeon offices to be very busy and trying to get a fast appointment.is difficult. Each case is different. I was scheduled to go another doc but at last minute found out my insurance was,accepted in one office but the booking date was further away.I was greatful to find Dr Chavkin. thru my good husband making phone calls and calling different offices.I wish you didnt have to get any dental work done outside of cleanings and cavitys but if your looking for a good oral surgeon you may want to have a consult with Dr Chavkin. You wont be disappointed here and try to make appointment as soon as you know you need dental work
My thanks to Dr Ross Chavkin. Sore site of area where wisdom tooth is like you got punched in the jaw 2nd day but antibodies and relief pain meds prescribed andhelping.Please be good to yourself and get any procedure you know needs doing. Asap. You will have probably be in less pain if take care of at first sign of trouble cuz these come on fast and furious out of nowhere. And you want to avoid that a,added tip saint appolina is patron Saint of dentists.In early century when Christians were being forced to renounce their Christian Faith in Our Lord Jesus Christ Bur St appolina was strong and brave and wouldn't and one of the ways she was tortured was to painfully pull put all her teeth.in great pain. She is a Saint now and you can be sure she will help you in all teeth troubles asking God to help you and pray for you to him like you would ask a friend to pray for you.Best to all Blessings Ave maria

I had a tooth pulled that was covered by a crown on Friday, June 2, 2017. Dr. Chavkin did a wonderful job. He was patient and compassionate. I had minimal pain and bleeding and was able to go to work the next day. I also appreciated the follow up call the next day by the doctor's office.

DO NOT USE HIM. It was my worst experience in my life. I went in for him to take 2 teeth out. When I came home I realized he pulled the wrong tooth out. When confronted he lied about why he pulled it out. I also got a staff infection from him which almost killed me.

Pain free wisdom tooth extraction. He is funny and staff is extremely nice. Would definitely recommend !!! And his appointments are always on time you barely have to wait!
