Dr. Wittgrove has been my gyno for years. When I first started seeing her I liked her. I found her to be through. I believe she wants all her patients at a healthy weight. In last few years I have left her office in tears. I had a simple urinary tract infection the antibiotics she gave me didn’t clear the urinary infection. I went back to her office a week later for a check up and told her I was still having symptoms and she wouldn’t give me a stronger rx. She stated I needed to see a urologist for spasms and my test was clear and the drugs see gave should’ve worked. I know my body and I wasn’t back to normal. I ended up going to my primary care to get an rx for Cipro. Which cleared my infection. Waste of my time and money to have to go see another doctor to clear my infection. Also thankfully I didn’t wait to see a urologist that was booked for four months because who knows what would’ve happened to my health by the time I could see them. Also I was having excessive bleeding with an IUD she seemed to write it off as nothing. Then when I finally made an appointment to go back to have it removed. I go to the office and they don’t remove it and tell me I have to come for another visit. Are you joking I specifically made an appointment to have it removed. Then I’ve been having annual paps and everything is fine. Then the last pap she tells me I need to go for an ultrasound cause she can’t tell if everything is all right. What?? I think this is all insurance related to make more money on a patient constantly coming back for appointments. So they can Keep charging the insurance and the patient. I use to really like her and I think her medical assistant is great but I think it’s time to find a new gyno physician. I think she just has her moments like we all do but I put a lot of trust in my physicians and I’m paying for a service with my insurance and copays, deductibles, co insurances. As for her lateness I’m usually told it’s because she’s delivering a baby. Ok. I can understand that. That’s the chance I take for scheduling with a doctor who delivers. So I was usually prepared if I had to wait because I trusted her, but I’ve decided to look for another physician. I will not be going back to this office.
