This doctor is a menace to the public and especially to those struggling with their mental health. He is incompetent on a good day, constantly asking "so, what is going on?" repeatedly during my session, clearly not listening. If he happens to be in a bad mood, he will be cruel and insulting. If you are not assertive and able to strongly advocate for yourself when he engages in his tantrums, you should not see this doctor.

Dr. Roda is a wonderful doctor who does take a very keen interest in his patients. I agree with the rating below that he is very knowledgeable, takes the time to listen to how you are doing, and will work with whichever pharmacy you prefer. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Jan Roda is a fantastic doctor who shows great care for his patients. He is very knowledgeable, listens intently and asks perceptions questions during each session. I never feel rushed. His office hours are quite flexible and his cancellation policy (which he expresses at the first meeting) is very fair. I highly recommend Dr. Roda!

When it comes to your mental health, finding the right doctor can be a daunting task. I saw 4 different psychiatrists in the city before I met Dr. Roda. He has been my psychiatrist since 2007, and I am very grateful to be under his care. He is highly intelligent, down to earth, compassionate, and supportive. Every time I leave a session I always feel at ease. His appointment times are flexible, and he never makes you wait. A true professional.

At various points in my life I have sought psychiatric help from other physicians, but I have repeatedly gone back to Dr. Roda (insurance permitting) because he is the best connection I've found. It's not merely an issue of being better than others in a vacuum, Dr. Roda and I have worked together to bring me from a place of severe depression and anxiety to much a much better place. He has consistently provided me with excellent and effective medication management and talk therapy and I truly believe my current happiness is due in no small part to Dr. Roda's influence.

I have been seeing Dr. Roda for about 2 years. He is a wonderful doctor who really listens to what I have to say. There are never any wait times in his office; a 1pm appointment starts at 1pm. I would absolutely recommend him.

I've seen Dr Roda for almost 15 years. He's thoughtful, compassionate and dependale. His treatment approach is conservative which works well for me since I'm impacted by treatment changes. He's always punctual so I've never had to wait. I would definitely recommend him without hesitation.

He is the worst doctor I have ever encountered. DO NOT GO TO HIM! He is completely irresponsible with medication management. I was going to run out of medication and be without until his next available appointment in two weeks and he did not care. He said I would have to wait two weeks until he would refill my prescription. I obviously would not be coming to him if I did not need medication. It's not like I enjoy having depression. He wanted to make sure I came in so I would pay him because he does not believe people should get better, he believes he should get paid.
