Dr. Vergano is a very compassionate and knowledgeable pediatrician who honestly cares about the patient. He is a great communicator and has a wonderful bed-side manner. He takes time to really listen, and he uses his notes from your previous visit. He is never dismissive or arrogant. I would highly recommend Dr. Vergano.

Dr. Scott is the BEST!!! my daughter had reflux as a baby and other pediatricians wanted to put her on meds which I wasn't happy with. Heard the nurses at CHKD raving about Dr. Scott so I made an appointment. I never mentioned how I felt about her having the meds or tests as other doctors recommended. Just asked for his opinion. He went over every detail of what I would need to know to care for a baby with reflux naturally. Without meds. No other Doctor did that or told me those things. With this new knowledge I was able to manage her reflux without meds and I have been hooked ever since. When she was 2 months old she started vomitting and couldn't keep anything down. I rushed her to the hospital. They said reflux. Took her to dr Scott the next day and he took one listen to her stomach and said stomach bug. He was right. On one occasion she broke out in a strange rash. Dr Scott was off that day so I chose a dr that had been practicing the longest at pediatrics specialist and he had no idea. Sent me home and told me to come back if it got worse....no parent wants to hear that. Went back and saw dr Scott two days later and he knew exactly what it was. He even got out a medical book and read to me what it said about this rash and showed pictures. Explained it in detail. I have many more stories these are just the most prominent. He is amazing. There really are no words. He truly cares about his patients and spends time getting to know them no matter how young. You can see it in his face. How he lights up when he is interacting with the children.

This practice is the only practice I would ever bring my children to. The whole staff is compassionate and hardworking. All of the doctors are experts and are always willing to go the extra mile, as well as spend the necessary time with each patient. Dr. Scott always goes above and beyond the doctor's call of duty. Anyone who says differently, is not only crazy, but looking for something that doesn't exist. He is very knowledgeable in his area. He always spends a considerable amount of time with each one of my children, making sure they feel comfortable with their visits. Not only does he make my children feel comfortable, he ensures that my husband and I are comfortable with whatever is being discussed. He has even called after hour to make sure everything is well. We always feel comfortable calling with questions or concerns. He always makes us feel as if we are the most important patients he has. We would be lost without him.

Dr Scott is truly the epitome of a compassionate doctor. He would do anything for his patients, and takes the time to keep up with the medical literature and current care guidelines. I cannot recommend him and his practice highly enough.

Went to this practice for years and was not happy with the staff or Dr. Scott. Dr. Scott was always impatient and when I questioned his assessment, became irritated and denied my request for blood tests. I found his knowledge of medicine to be somewhat limited and was unimpressed with his demeanor. If you do go to this practice, choose Dr. Mann.

Dr. Scott always treats us and our son with respect and care. He truly cares about his patients and will go out of his way to show his concern. Cannot recommend him enough. Really a great doctor--compassionate, knowledgeable, friendly, awesome with kids, competent, concerned. Dr. Scott is simply the best.

My son was in the hospital for a week a while ago. Not only did he help out every chance he got always explaining things properly, but he also came in and spent a half an hour just playing with my son. Great man. Great Doctor!
