Sharla is an OUTSTANDING doctor but the staff at Partners in Primary Care leave a lot to be desired. I had an appointment with Janelle scheduled for 2:00 p.m. today (7/30/2019) because I had surgery for a bowel obstruction at Resolute Health Hospital here in New Braunfels last Friday and the social worker there (Mandy) said I need to see my doctor to get a referral for home health care to help me recover and take care of my incision. Even though I was called by a nurse to remind me of my appointment at this time on this day, when I arrived I was told there was no record of me having this appointment and I was sent away. Do you realize how difficult it was for me to get dressed and go to your office 3 days after major surgery just to be told that the appointment I made with your office that was confirmed by your staff did not exist? I am a VERY DISSATISFIED PATIENT and do not appreciate the way I was treated after having been one of your patients for many years. I cannot wait a week to be seen as my incision needs daily care provided by a professional that I cannot get because of your ineptitude. I plan to post this experience on every customer satisfaction for doctor's offices I can find in this area.

I was a work in for mrs Clark's schedule. I could tell the office was busy because the waiting room was full. My only complaint about the staff is I wish they would have told me how long my wait would be. I knew I was worked in and I was appreciative. I waited 35 min in the lobby and it was worth it. PA Clark and her nurse were very professional. She apologized for keeping me waiting, I waited approx 8 min in the room. She acknowledged I was worked into a busy schedule, the reason for my wait, and she was glad I was there and not the emergency room. I agreed. She addressed my urgent issue and an additional minor issue I did not bring up on my phone call. I will return to see her. She is thorough and strikes me as a very hard worker. I can not imagine her ridiculing someone to the point of tears.

Sharla Clark worked me in for an appointment. I had 2 issues I needed to address. The first issue I told the receptionist about. The second I did not. My appointment was obviously alotted approximately 2 minutes in length since I was considered to be a "work in". Ten minutes at the longest is what I would have needed for this particular appointment. When I tried to bring up the second reason for my appointment, Mrs. Clark repeatedly accused me of manipulating both she and the receptionist into getting an appointment on the same day I called to schedule. She ridiculed me to the point I was in tears. She is very unprofessional and I would not send my dog to see her.

I have been seeing Sharla since I got health insurance, and I have not had one bad word to say about her. She is the most wonderful doctor I could have imagined. She listens, she addresses any questions you have, and she takes really good care of her patients!!

I have been seeing PA's in the military for over 20 years, but never have been treated with the professionalism that Mrs. Clark provided. She visited with me and heard all my questions. I received a thorough exam and we discussed together the best options for me. It was nice to be heard and included. I am extremely pleased with my experience with Allied Institute of Medicine. This is my fourth civilian practice to participate with. I am referring friends and family as well.
