Waited months for an appointment. Very nice clinic but staff are abrupt and rude. I ended up going to another podiatrist where I was treated more effectively. Doctor is quite condescending.

Dr. Chelin saved my toe! After 10 years he is the only doctor and medical professional to effectively remove my toe fungus without the use of intensive drugs. Although he is not always punctual, he takes the time to speak with me and teach me new things about my feet that I did not know how to fix prior. He did great work on my fungus and made me able to wear sandals again!

Well, well, well, clearly whoever rated this office a 1 star never went to the office I was in. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave the staff was fabulous, helpful and the doctor was very informative and thorough. I had bunion surgery and just finished all of my post op appointments and all I can say is THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH I AM THRILLED.

I sought Dr. Chelin out as I was interested in Hyprocure surgery, a correction for flat feet. I began with orthotics, and when they didn't work anymore, decided to do the surgery which I'm very happy with (my knee pain is 90% better). I've found Dr. Chelin helpful and knowledgeable. He was patient as I took years to decide to do the surgery. Sometimes, I've found the staff nice and other times a bit short. But I don't really care about that. He is very particular and precise -- which is exactly what I wanted in a surgeon. Recommended. And I also recommend the Hyprocure implant - though do your own research first.

Not happy with result of my Bunion surgery and contrary to what the doctor promised I still have pain in my foot. Chelin was not transparent at all and is now avoiding me (i.e. after he collected money from me). His staff are rude and ill tempered. Avoid at all cost!

I had surgery in this office clearly what I am reading is either someone very jealous or angry. They are not talking about my experience it was absolutely unbelievable. The consult took over one hour never felt rushed or pushed into anything. Exactly the opposite I was asked by the surgical assistant yo please go home think about the options and feel free to call or come back with my husband. Dr Chelin was so professional and he gave me options unfortunately it was my fault I waited so long. Waiting for an appointment with the most professional staff and having surgery in that office was the bed decision I ever made. Since 3 of my friends have followed. Perhaps all you negative angry people don’t deserve professionalism at this level. My feet look beautiful fabulous. Thank you Dr Chelin and Robyn for all your love and care.

I’ve been there 3 times now. He first time i went in the nurse was so kncredibly rude and condescending. I had to hold back tears. Then the doctor commented on the sweater i was wearing and my lack of pedicure.... so weird and really none of his business... he recommended a surgery for one toe that will cost $5000! And the secretary was sure to press that the cost could go up. I was so tuned off like she’s trying to force me into booking....I have a really bad feeling with everything and am currently looking for another doctor.

I've been seeing him and his staff in Whitby to assess my candidacy for hyprocure implants. Friendly staff and Dr. Always on time and takes plenty of time with each patient. Never pushed any solutions on me. Great.

Horrible doctor!!!! He had very bad judgement. I have flat feet. the price he charges for custom orthotics is outrageous and I bought high quality orthotics from a Chirpractor for half that price.

Moreover, he wanted to lure me into getting an expensive hammer toe surgery which costed almost $1800 per foot! He tried to scare me and make a big deal out of my mild hammer toe condition. I visited another Podiatrist (A much more professional and experienced one) and he told me that a hammer toe surgery isn't even required as my hammer toe condition isn't very severe and doesn't cause any problems, even in the long run. Moreover, his quote for a hammer toe surgery was much lower than $1800 , which shows that Chelin was just trying to take advantage of my lack of knowledge on the subject.

Overall, very bad experience. I am astonished by reviewers who have given this guy a good rating!!! I am thinking there must be another Podiatrist named Robert Chelin out there!!!

The staff at Dr. Chelin's clinic were the only redeeming quality about the office. He was so far behind that there was a build up of patients in the lobby. When I finally got in to see him, he was curt, rude, and talked down to me as if I was a child who knew nothing. Very disappointed and I will not be returning.
