This guy is an absolute nightmare!! Stay away!! Acts like he knows it, but knows nothing and is a pompous ass to compliment it all!! Very slow to respond, reported back with news on test results we already knew about and weren't in the ER for in the first place. In addition, asked how the pain medicine was taking he supposively prescribed earlier which the patient never even was offered or received. Also wanted to do "verbal combat" with the patient in every contact. Definately needs customer service training! Overall, just an absolute idiot! Again, bad reflection on an overall good hospital. Delnor, wake-up and take action!!

dr james w keene seemed very unfamiliar with pediatric illnesses. Sending a 45 lb child home with a 104.9 fever and extremely high white blood cell count with the only explanation of "your child has a bacterial infecton of unknown cause call your pediatrician in the morning" and a huge ER hospital bill, is totally unacceptable. I think contracting doctors out is not always in the best interest of the hospital. After speaking to numerous parents they were also unaware that the ER doctors were not actually Delnor Physicians nor did the hospital have a pediatric specialist on site for emregeny illnesses. I was shocked how many parents travel to a different hospital when involving a child. Delnor has a great reputation, but when it comes to peds apparently not!!! The nurse were excellent and offered great advice and showed great concern for my child. Dr. Keene did not have any answers.
