Dr. Lanoff was caring and thoughtful. He actually let me explain my whole complicated situation without me feeling like he was rushing to his next patient. He offered clear insight and option and cam up wit a manageable plan of care.

This doctor was given a copy of my medical records without my consent and was bribed by the insurance company to write a review in which he criticized my doctors and wrote an opinion that none of my injuries were related to the auto accident that caused them.

Dr. Lanoff is the best. Very good at reading the patient's needs, wonderful bedside manner and sense of humor putting me at ease. I had a feeling of trust from the first visit which continues to be reinforced each time I see him. I Just received my first epidural injection from him and it was completely pain free which was not my experience with the previous 2 I'd gotten from another doctor. There are usually medical students with him and each time I have been informed of that by the nurse before he came to the room so I'm surprised there were complaints about this. The only negative thing I can say is the online appointment scheduling is terrible so avoid that and use the phone for an appointment.

This doctor is wonderful, squeezed my 85 year old father in his busy day and was kind and helpful. My father has much less pain and can walk better after his visit, bravo!

When I reached my plateau with his treatment he seemed to classify me as a fake and then told me to go to Mayo and start with a decent internist who could refer me to psych. He missed the diagnosis that I had herniated the level above a lumbar fusion done only 4 months prior. He was not interested in investigating my complaint and actually accused me of malingering. Luckily my great internist examined me and discovered the herniation and he referred me to the surgeon who had done my first fusion. I would not return to Dr lanoff and I would not recommend him

This was my second visit with Dr. Lanoff and I am absolutely blown away with the amount of time he spent with me telling me about my condition, why it may have come about and the various alternatives about what my options for treatment were. This doctor is terrific and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a caring, knowledgeable specialist. I have read the negative reviews and I cannot believe they're talking about the same guy. Dr. Lanoff is one of the best practitioners I have ever encountered.

I do not understand any of the negative comments towards this doctor. Dr. Lanoff is one of the kindest, most sincere doctors I have ever been to. He does have a good sense of humor and wonderful bedside manner which puts your mind at ease, especially when you are getting an epidural shot, which can be scary. He is fast, funny, and he perfomrs the shot in less than 10 minutes with almost no pain at all except the initial stick. He is a great doctor that tries to find the reason you are in pain and then fixes it! I would highly recommend this doctor!
