Simon, delivered my daughter under difficult birthing situation, she is now a very capable 5 year old. Having worked in theatre myself I can confirm he is extremely knowledgable and is straight to the point about getting the show on the road. He is fully capable of making the best professional decision for the successful delivery of children keeping in mind the well being of the mother and managing the psychosocial things that go with pregnancy. Simon is everything a Specialist should be. I was recommended him from the midwives at the hospital and that's getting it right from the horses mouth. He is also very good with stitches, one nurse told me that I had picked the best one based on that. Simon is a wonderful busy man who has made a difference to many families, I can not recommend him enough.

Dr Simon Turner is a wonderful doctor. Through him I conceived my daughter who is now 13 years old. I would HIGHLY recommend him as he really knows everything there is to know about infertility and your best chance of having a successful outcome is with him. Really professional and very charming.

He may be knowledgeable and has lot of experience but do not expect him to take the time to answer your questions. No where along do I feel he even cares, I am just a another file. He was half an hour late for our appt, did not even apologise. Then when we were in the office, he picked up the phone to return a call, and in between being waiting told us our results. For the price we pay, you would think he could take the time to just concentrate on us.

I had Simon Turner as my fertility specialist and OB for my firt baby - loved his sense of humour and was not bothered by his direct manner. I went to him because I wanted to have the best person there in case something went wrong. If you want hand holding he may not be for you, but if you want the best OB in Perth then he's your man. We are now back at Hollywood Fertility doing IVF for baby #2 (5 unsuccessful rounds of OI and now the first IVF round) and will definately be having Simon as our OB.

Dr Simon Turner isn't listening to you at all. My appointment time was very short, he doesn't explain enough...so I don't recommend him especially for 1st time mum. very poor eye contact so make you very worried...if you are low-mid risk pregnancy, strongly recommend you to look for another OB. His midwife is ok but receptionist is very rude.

I could not recommend Dr Simon Turner enough. I am now on my 11th pregnancy but this is the first I have actually carried past 8 weeks. I am now 28 weeks pregnant!! Dr Turner was my fertility specialist and he is so much more thorough than any other doctor I have ever seen, which I assure you there have been many. I cant wait for Dr Turner to deliver my baby girl in August. It has been an extremely pleasant experience. I do agree he may be a little more forward than some like but if you can get past that you will definitely be in good hands.

Cons: Quick 10min appts, never on time due to double booked appts (but also needs to leave for his patients births), not too interested in answering 1st Mum questions, 20mins late to my booked cesarean. Complications due to placenta breaking during birth Pros: Well Experienced, I felt happy he was watching my pregnancy even tho the appts were short my pregnancy was problem free, his midwife a great lifeline, complications after birth were handled pretty well and I after a scary few weeks fully recovered. Perfect shrinking scar! All Ob's have stories, I would consider using him again.
