I have been a patient of Dr. Roy's since 2004 when I was diagnosed with TTP. TTP was just the underlying symptom of what lied beneath. He worked closely on my case because he was also treating my mom for lyphoma at the time. While spending months in the hospital and receiving plasmaphersis, Dr. Roy was stern and caring as I was not understanding my health condition. As my specialist and being under his care, our patient/physician relationship developed as I learned more about what I had and he taught me about TTP/ITP and the types of treatments I was receiving. Once I was released from the hospital and developed symptoms of SLE, he assisted my family by working closely with my medical team in NYC to make sure I received the best care. Dr. Roy is a caring and straightforward but he is not malice or disrespectful. God will place the right people in the right situation for the right purpose. I never miss my six month follow-up appointments with him and he calls me when he needs to refer a patient to my Rheumatologist. He has never violated my rights as his patient and can ask me for any assistance he may need if he has a patient who may need a referral.

I have been a patient of Dr. Roy for many years. He is kind and patient, never has he been rude or dismissive. He calls me himself when there’s any questions or problems. He is very knowledgeable and supportive.
I highly recommend him.

I've been going to Dr Roy for Chronic ITP since 2015. He excellent. He clearly knows what he's talking about, medically speaking, has a lot of patience for having a nervous patient. He takes the time to explain things I ask about. And he's kind, great bedside manner. The first time I was getting infusions, I saw him come in to the room and talk to everyone in the chairs. One girl was curled over sleeping while she was getting infusions, and looked uncomfortable.
He went out of his way to get her a pillow and help her adjust her position. That's kindness. He talked to everyone there, and when he saw the background on my phone, he was making conversation about the topic I was obviously interested in, which really put me at ease. His office staff is also excellent, and I will miss Jackie who always found a vein on the first try. I'd give him more than 5 stars if I could. Dr Roy is great.

Very rude, arrogant!Treat you like the worst person on earth! Breaks the hepa Privacy, because he yells to you like everyone all others patients hear about your medical condition. He has no respect for the patient! Cannot let you to speak. His ethics needs to be investigated and reported to the state! A doctor cannot act the way he is acting in the doctor office!
Very unprofessional!!! Not recommended at all

My fist and last visit. I needed a whole new blood panel to avoid future DVT'S instead Dr. Roy gave me a 1 hour talk show and referred me to someone else. He says that's more knowledgeable.....what??? Dr. Roy was very touchy feely...he kept touching my leg, arm talking way to close and making jokes the whole time. Even insulting my husband....he wasn't even there!!! Yuk!! Very uncomfortable! Waste of time.
