I honestly believe there is a possibility that these are fake reviews. Not only was Dr. Asuncion wrong about my diagnosis, he was inappropriate with me and he was rude. It still bothers me to this day how bad he treated me.

Dr Asuncion has been my family doctor for over 20 years. Best family doctor ever. He is professional, funny, caring, and patient. I am a medical incident waiting to happen and he has been and is always there for us.

Dr. Asuncion is the best! I just love his bubbly personality. He takes the time to listen to me and he explains things to me so I can understand. Not only is he great, but his PA Alizandra Torok is the sweetest person ever and she is very smart also. I always feel comfortable when I come here. This is the best Doctor's office ever and I always leave feeling well taken care of.

Dr. Asuncion has been our FP for about 10 years. Unfortunately his practice has deteriorated on the business side to the point that getting an appointment is almost a physical impossibility. His staff is inefficient and fails to listen effectively and note appointments properly. One of his nursing staff, Carey is rude, abrasive, and condescending to the patient. Its sad, because Dr. Asuncion was always a good diagnostic physician. Unfortunately when he changed management affiliations with health corporations, care went out the window.... All (bad) business now.

I left the original Family medicine practice that he was with because I was never able to be guaranteed to see him and was very unorganized, I believe he probably left for the same reasons. Dr. Asuncion is the MOST LOYAL, TRUSTWORTHY, KNOWLEDGEABLE DOCTORS LEFT OUT THERE WITH REAL INTEGRITY. His RN Carrie is the sweetest, most positive, upbeat and TRULY HELPFUL & FOLLOWS THROUGH W/HER PROMISES TO HANDLE EVEN THE TOUGHEST OF SITUATIONS, W/OUT HESITATION. I have been a patient with Dr. Asuncion now for approximately 12years now all together and PRAY NOTHING CHANGES. I don't even want to be seen by anyone else in the practice because he knows me so well that it's almost as if there's no need for my medical chart because he's that aware of ALL of MY MEDICAL PROBLEMS (WHICH IS A LOT). The Personalized Service from the Doctor, 'S & Carrie his RN, is the MOST OUTSTANDING SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED FROM AN MD & RN since moving back to Virginia Beach, VA in 1998 in search of a PCP & happened to FINALLY BE SEEN BY HIM AT HIS FORMER EMPLOYMENT AND WAS IN SEARCH OF HIM WHEN I GOT WORD HE OPENED HIS OWN PRACTICE AND WAS OVERJOYED. The only slight problem I've ever had is with the female named Litta (not sure if spelled correct). She doesn't actively listen to the reason for WHY your calling and is unable to UNDERSTAND how to SOLVE the QUESTION/PROBLEM W/OUT PUTTING YOU ON MULTIPLE UNNECESSARY HOLDS that ONLY lead to a REQUEST FOR HER PUTTING IN FOR A RETURN CALL BACK FROM DR. ASUNCION or his RN. That's the ONLY TINIEST COMPLAINT I HAVE. Please, just get the very front window person (Litta) some CUSTOMER SERVICE PHONE TRAINING, as well as, ORGANIZATIONAL/TIME MANAGEMENT TRAINING and then she may become an asset to the staff/practice. When I just learned that RYAN, WHO WAS A HUGE ASSET TO THE STAFF BECAUSE IT DIDN'T REQUIRE MULTIPLE CALLS FOR A SIMPLE REQUEST, was no longer with the practice, this made me think of those training issues/problems and that THIS MAY BE THE REASONS FOR THE PAST MONTHS PROBLEMS WITH THE FRONT WINDOW AND PHONE ANSWERING PROBLEMS, which can be easily corrected with the training. I LOVE MID-ATLANTIC FAMILY PRACTICE IN VIRGINIA BEACH, VA. DR. CHRISTOPHER ASUNCION IS THE #1 PCP IN THE VIRGINIA BEACH,VA AREA. TOP NOTCH. A+++++

This would be the perfect person to be your neighbor. He is funny and witty. As a doctor, he lacks professionalism, he is rude, and he tries to push illnesses off on other doctors. My experience with this doctor was not pleasant. At first he seemed great but then I realized soon enough that he is an average doctor with the potential of being amazing.

Dr. Asuncion has been my GP even before he started his own practice. He has been an incredible blessing to me and my family. No other GP can take his place. :)

My first word is WOW! What an excellent doctor, what an excellent & simply amazing doctor. I got in same day I requested, office staff & nurse wonderful & friendly. My office wait was super short. Dr. Asuncion is one of only two practitioners at the practice, yet he took his time. He listened to me and I came in with more than one "problem". He explained everything thoroughly and really seem to understand me. Not only that, he is super friendly! I am telling all my loved ones & friends to go see him and I never want to go to any other doctor. On a side note, I was so enthralled by this practice that my husband (who never visits a doctor) is planning to go see him next week. EXCELLENT!
