I agree with other poster regarding the face to face as being great, I also agree that he and his staff just dont follow through. They will say something to you and by the time they are out the door it's out of their heads AND not writen in your chart. I have been told numberous times to call back in information and it is never relayed or cant speak to the doctor even when he has asked to me call him. I believe the office is just to large to give decent care to so many people. I believe his staff thinks it is their job to keep the patients from "bothering" the doctor and I believe that kind of training comes from the top. At this time the area where I live has limited choices for me so I must continue to see this doctor, and really its not the face to face I have a problem with. To be forewarned is to be forearmed, so if you need to go to one of their many offices just know you will do all the leg work, if they say they will call a schedule something you call too.

During my frequent appointments they are always friendly & prompt but if they SAY they are going to do something , like contact another doc or follow up on something you need .. DO IT YOURSELF.He will drop the ball, forget, or not be in town-Even when he's asked me to call back in with requested info his phone staff will not let you thru or take responsiblity when they "forget".The face to face is excellent, the follow thru is very poor! For me he's the only game in town.

Dr.Johnson is part of a big Dr. conlongo in my area, I really like this Doctor.Although "they" lack the ability to proform the surgeries I need they are always helpful & caring, referring me to a specialist who could.They manage my meds and follow-up'ed where my specialist dropped the ball. He has been a safety net for me and I am thankful.
