Was diagnosed with a DVT at Barberton Oh Hospital Saw Dr Marrawai about 5 minutes 2/22/07 When I tried to talk he put his hand up and he said I will talk you will listen, no questions, don't ask when you will go home I will tell you when. You will be here several days. I thought health care experts say be proactive and ask questions and LISTEN. The doctor was condescending and rude. On 2/23 he discharged me with no explanation, no discussion. Only reason for my staying in the hospital was to get Lovenox injections & coumadin treatment, be monitored and rest. Within minutes of my discussion with a nurse about Dr Al-Marrawi and my uncomfortable hospital stay, he came in and discharged me after only two days with no explanation. I understand this is not the norm for DVT hospital stays and monitoring. My personal physician was aghast that I was released so soon and at his refusal to even let me ask questions.
