I find that Dr. Nicolle is not only well versed in his specialty, but can bring it down into layman terms when explaining something so l can understand. Going as far as to draw diagrams of nerves, muscles, antibodies, etc. He is 80% sure that l have MG
However, the varius testing he has been doing has been coming up inconclusive. This past week l was on to see him again and said we should try IVIg. Had not been home.. for more then 3 hours and one his associates called me and asked. of l could start the procedure the. following day. BTW his bedside is. second to none. He asked me if l had any other health issues l wanted to bring up,
I explained that l was seeing my family Doctor which l attribute to just getting old! He laughed and said that if comes to possible surgery, here are some of Londons specialists in that field you may wish to discuss with your Family Doctor. We also spoke about are fondness for ice hockey and the building of backyard rinks. Which we agreed have not been the best winters these past few years.
I feel privileged to have Dr. Nicolle as my Physician through this scary journey.
As you can probably deduct, l highly recommend Dr.Nicolle.

Michael Nicolle saw me and concluded that I had Myasthenia Gravis. This was correct according to other health professionals as well. After this diagnosis my experience with him went down hill. Severe adverse reactions to medications prescribed by him were considered by him to be due to psychological issues or anxiety. Although other doctors corroborated my medication reactions he did not change his stance. Phone calls were not returned. I did not get the care I needed. I found him to be arrogant and condescending. If you can go elsewhere I recommend it. I am glad that some people feel they got the care they needed.

He was able to diagnose and treat my issue. What more could I ask for.

How can a doctor like this continue to practice. He is horrible with women. He is supposed to be the top MG doctor. This is very scary for any women with MG going to see him.
If you are offered a referral run

Awful man. I decided to discontinue seeing him and he went out of his way to send a letter to my current doctors saying I had FND (even though I’ve been cleared of that)and that I was an unnecessary burden to the healthcare system. All this despite the fact I was no longer seeking his opinion or services. Do not recommend.

Do not go to this doctor. He is very dismissive and tries to blame your issue on psychological issues. From reading other reviews, maybe it is just women he treats like this. His behaviour will leave you traumatized.

He discriminates against women. He withholds medical testing and makes assumptions about the cause of symptoms. He does not listen and when he does listen, he does believe them. He diagnosed me with a psychological disorder after one consultation where he didn't listen to a word I said, nor did he order a single test (not even blood work) and I had had zero testing completed prior to my appointment. No neurologist would agree to take me on as a patient because of his diagnosis and consequently I went years before my GP agreed to order basic testing which by that time revealed irreversible damage which could have been treated if Dr. Nicolle believed women and didn't withold medical testing and treatment from them. I hope he stops practicing medicine. He should not be allowed women,

This man shouldn’t be a doctor. He treats women horrible. He withheld medical records and testing. After being diagnosed he decided that he is the mighty doctor who would take the diagnosis away, or try. There are much then him out there. Don’t waste your time on this doctor. So many other good neurologist who will treat you with dignity
