If I could have thrown a chair at him, I would have. Completely dismissed everything I was there for, and gave some ridiculous reason of a condition that doesn't even exist, for all my symptoms, but ordered the two tests I needed, just in case. Since I didn't pass all his tests, with tears streaming down my face from trying so hard, and pain. And he jsut said my brain is sad. Literally. I don't know how this guy has any high ratings. I'll never go to Vic Hospital again. I have overwhelming, debilitating symptoms of an extremely rare disease/condition, that he freaking specializes in, and he says my brain remembers trauma.
I couldn't feel half my face, swallow properly, or use my tongue, my arms and legs have no stability or strength. But yeah buddy, it's my sad memories of trauma causing it.
Overall, worst doctor experience in quite some time. His residents were more concerned than him. I wouldn't waste your time. You'd have better luck licking the sidewalk. *Shrugs*
At one point he says he wants to admit me to do these tests, but decided my half numb and instable self, can just keep losing all my skills and abilities, at random, and just wait another month and hope everything is just.fine.
He's gonna be eating his words when the tests are done.

This doctor misdiagnosed me. He is very quick and doesn’t listen to what you have to say. Thank God for a new neurologist who understands these very rare diseases

Officious, narrow, not very sympathetic. Tended to tell me how I felt rather than listening to what I had to say. Have moved on to a better specialist.

I was recently diagnosed. Heard he's the go to guy. I drove up from toronto to meet him, he's very positive and has a very positive outlook on this disease. He was very meticulous with his testing and was very polite and was willing to discuss and answer all my questions. He is now going to be the guy managing my MG. I feel confident I will do well and having a good doctor is a part of that. Went above and beyond all expectations, he even let me borrow a book about MG so my dad could read and learn about it.

Traumatized after my experience with him. HORRIBLE DOCTOR. Misdiagnosed me with a psychosomatic disorder after doing no testing whatsoever. His misdiagnosis put my life in jepodary. My life and health will never be the same because of him.

I met with Dr. Nicolle after having no luck being diagnosed by other neurologists. He was extremely kind and attentive. He answered all of my questions and treated the 'whole person' not just the 'disease.' I did not feel rushed at any point and I have confidence in his knowledge. His staff was great. I look forward to continuing to work with him.

Brilliant, compassionate, and thorough. Dr. Nicolle has the best bedside manner, and genuinely cares about his patients. I don't think there is a better doctor. Canada is fortunate to have him.
