He needs a 10 STAR!!!! He really is the best. My daughter started seeing him in 9th grade and from the beginning he was amazing and checked out each joint . Listened and asked questions. fast forward to this year, her 2nd year in college he just proved why he is the best ever!!! She goes to college in TENN. and was having knee pain and knew it needed to be drained. she had a rheumy in tenn to simply be able to get her infusions, so she went there to be treated. That dr was completely incompetent . he couldn't drain it...... She drove 10 hours home just to see DR George because she knew he would be able to help her . He drained a crazy amount of fluid off her knees ( which HE could have done with his eyes closed). He is so knowledgeable and thoughtful in his treatment process and plan. He breaks things down for you to understand and is very patient. He does a thorough joint exam each visit which is great and documents everything. The staff is amazing as well.

I have been a patient of Dr. George for over 10 years. He helped our daughter with a Lyme diagnosis and me with tendonitis. He is simply the best! While other doctors may rush you out the door, he is incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate. He takes his time with every patient- getting to know them and to diagnose tough rheumatoid issues, which can be quite a challenge. I would not go to another rheumatologist and wouldn't hesitate to refer friends and family to this gentle doctor.

I have been going to Dr. George since 2007 and he is absolutely amazing! I have never had or met a doctor that is as knowledgeable, caring, and supportive. He really knows every one of his patients and wants the best for them. I would give him 100 stars if I could!

The best. Gentle and amazing with my toddler; firm but thorough with me on getting the right plan going. Doesn't even compare to Children's Hospital rheumatology. Dr. George is the best! Highly recommend for pediatric rheumatology!

Dr. George is one of a kind. I came to see him a few years ago and was diagnosed with Lupus. He has saved my life. He is quick to return my calls and makes me feel like he truly cares for me and my well being. He has been there for me when other doctors have failed me. When in doubt I turn to him to guide through any and all of my medical issues. I valve his opinion. I recommend him to my loved ones because I know they will be in good hands. He’s someone I count on and cherish. I wouldn’t be here living a wonderful mobile life without him.

Dr George graciously fit us in for a consultation on our son who has developed arthritis. After a thorough discussion of his symptoms and a thorough exam, he spent an impressive amount of time explaining his findings and the likely diagnosis, as well as the plans for further evaluation and management. It's such a relief to understand what is going on with our son and to know that someone knows how to treat it, correctly. He was wonderful with our son who also felt very comfortable with him.

Dr. George was very helpful on my last visit. I am returning again for follow-up exam. I felt very comfortable and at ease with him. He has a nice sense of humor. He's very knowledgeable and took the time to explain my ailments to me.

I had been seeing Stephen George's partner Matthew Bunyard since 1995. When Dr. Bunyard was moving out-of-state, I asked him which of his partners would be most likely not to put up with me. He recommended Dr. George. Stephen Georrge is a pleasure. He is as on top of everything. His staff is good. Getting an appointment is easy and I've always been in and out in under an hour. The three people I have met who are patients of Drs George and Gertler are thrilled with them.
