The mistreatment of Dr. Levitan caused me severe distress and struggle in my life. Do not visit this doctor. Get a referral elsewhere. He also has no problem screaming at you over the phone.

Dude straight up yelled at me and called me a liar when I said I was 6'1" tall. What kind of Doctor does that? Doesn't let you get a word in edge-wise. Very dismissive. Extremely combative. Maybe try someone else instead of this guy.

He took an extreme liking to my rare presentation so I got his concern, care, and attention. However, while in the waiting room there were many unhappy patients. He revoked their licenses and were ranting at the receptionist demanding an appointment. Not a pleasant experience.

I was referred to Dr. Levitan and was expecting a long wait to see him (this seems to be the way things are these days with specialists). I was pleasantly surprised. His staff fit me in for an appointment on short notice and his secretary was very friendly and courteous. Dr. Levitan was very patient listening to my complaint and took his time to answer all my concerns and questions in a professional and calming manner. I am glad I was referred to him as I feel he addressed my concerns in a kind and compassionate manner.

I've seen Dr. Levitan twice so far and I'm impressed with how thorough he has been in my care. I'm also impressed with his patience and the time he takes to review my findings and discuss next steps.

I saw Dr Levitan today and he was so helpful. He took his time with me, listened carefully and clarified what I had. Other doctors that I have seen were all confused as to what I have as I am "outside the box" with my symptoms but his years of experience shows. I found him to be very kind and sympathetic and would recommend him.

I went to see Dr Levitan because of my recurring transient Mal de debarquement (MDD) syndrome. Although this is not a common condition that he treats, he patiently listened to my symptoms and was sympathetic towards my condition. He provided useful suggestions on doing certain exercise and referred me to some vestibular testing. I came across his name from my vestibular physiotherapist who heard good things about him, and therefore I asked my GP to refer me to see Dr Levitan. I had a prior bad experience with another neurologist for this same condition last year, where I got dismissed as having vertigo and got sent for vertigo tests. When the vertigo tests turned negative (as I expected), I was told I did not need to follow up, so my original concern on MDD syndrome was never addressed. So I am grateful that Dr Levitan took my concerns seriously.

Dr Levitan's assistant at the front desk is also very helpful. My GP's office did not send the right reports and she immediately called their office and the other specialist's office to get them faxed over.

I have a very good experience overall with Dr Levitan's office.

Does not take the time to follow up with patients and it is very difficult to get ahold of him. He does not really seem to care much about his patients and has a rude demeanour.

Do not be a patient to this doctor. He does not follow up with patients or gives test results, I've called them 30 times every day for the past month begging for an appointment, and his receptionist continues to say he is very busy, and she forwards the doctor's orders rather than the doctor actually speaking to this patients and explaining their case - completely neglecting them, hindering and crippling their mental health.

When I did finally receive a call from the doctor, he proceeded to scream at me and threaten me saying ''if you thought you're going to get your license back this easily, you have another thing coming." He is a devil in human form.

He continues to give unnecessary appointments for tests (without even meeting the patient) and letting the secretary deal with it all - so he can make money off of his patients and their health.

Doctor should not have a license to treat human beings. He has threatened me, yelled at me over the phone and refused to communicate with me in a humane manner. He enjoys benefiting his pockets while continuing to completely neglect his patients.
