I have been seeing Dr. Lacks for at least a decade and I feel she is the leader of my health team. If she can't do it, she tells me what to expect from my other specialists. Her staff is the best I have encountered.

She is a good doctor, but has a terrible staff. With the ridiculous amount she has you pay, in cash, I expect decent care. I was treated better by my old Doctor at Georgetown. Her nurse sent me home, because they lost my appointment. Pretty hard for a disabled person to get there. NEVER WOULD GO BACK.

Dr Lacks listens (isn't that a novel concept))to her patients and she encourages the patient to become part of the plan of care (yes - another novel concept). Her staff is calm and cooperative, while I've never waited longer than a few minutes. Dr Lacks provides health-care, which includes both the discernment that comes with education and experience and the compassion that comes with really caring about her patients. I have been her patient for nearly 10 years and have recommended her to many others.

Dr. Lacks spends the necessary time with patients and listens. Her follow up is great. And, best of all she seems to care about her patients.
