All 3 of my kids see Dr Shaikh . They each have something going on .. he is extremely knowledgeable, understanding and shows empathy. He listens and refers where needed asap... . we have had great experiences each visit, and each call.
Debbie, & Nicole in office are amazing too!!

Dr Shaikh has always been very good to my son...both of our sons are student athletes so Dr Shaikh's understanding of the unique challenges that go along with these boys has been super helpful. My rating is more so in regard to his receptionist Debbie. This woman is and always has been rude and careless with complete disregard for patients. Anytime I have to deal with her to book appointments or anything else I have had nothing but a horrible experience. Unfortunately, if there were other pediatricians accepting patients we would have left Rainbow Pediatrics a long time ago...it is a shame that an excellent Dr will lose patients because of the person he has hired to work his office and interact with his patients.

Very friendly and knowledgeable doctor. Xayden is always excited to go to his clinic. One of the best doctors I’ve met.

I don’t even know where to begin. The only reason he is still my children’s dr. is because there are no paediatricians I can find taking new patients. He has sent us home now 3 times with a wrong diagnosis because of his own ego. My daughter had a chest X-ray at Mac last weekend and was diagnosed with pneumonia. She is not getting better she’s had a fever for 11 days. I took her back to Shaikh today and he did nothing. Said he looked at the X-ray and she doesn’t have pneumonia. Said to take her to the ER if she wasn’t better in 2 more days. I wasn’t happy with that so we drove her straight back to Mac. They re X-rayed her chest after we waited all afternoon. Turns out she has pneumonia. Wow! Headed home with new antibiotics. He could have and should have figured that out today.
This is not the first time this has happened. He cares more about talking to his med students then to parents of his patients. I feel bad for the students learning from him. Do not go to this doctor!
Debbie the receptionist is amazing! You deserve better then to have this quack as your boss!!!!
Staff rating is based on his receptionist alone!

Horrible experience with Dr Shaikh and his front desk staff. Appointments were constantly cancelled with little to no notice (half hour notice once). Long wait times for appointments, front desk staff is EXTREMELY rude. Dr Shaikh ignored all my concerns to the point I had to take him to a walk in to get a proper referral for the issue. He stopped seeing my son without a valid explanation and left us without a doctor. Horrible experience and I would not recommended taking your child to him.

The experience over the phone with the Dr was amazing, I was very excited to meet him after waiting almost a year through referrals. Upon the date of appointment the receptionist has us wait in the car for about an hour, my car battery died while waiting. (Yes I know that’s not the offices” fault) however, We finally get called in, and because I was with my newborn and daughter we were sent away, told to reschedule and she shut the door in my face. Not only was I left to wait for nearly an hour, I was also stranded waiting for CAA and had no appointment due to unclear instructions. Back to square zero and I am
now nervous to go back because of how rude and unprofessional the interaction was. It’s very unfortunate for our family as we need the medical attention and the doctor seemed awesome on the phone. Completely devastated and let down by this experience. This could have been avoided had the message been made clear that parents are not allowed to bring any children (aside from the patient).

We left a nightmare of a pediatrician before getting a referral to Dr. Shaikh! I am so happy we did! He was kind, attentive and listened to my concerns as a parent. He was so sweet to my daughter too, and you could tell he genuinely cares for the kids he sees! I am beyond happy.

Three cancellations in a row hours before the appointment for my child. Take time off work to fit into the schedule. Awful. Awful. Awful.

I liked the DR but the secretary is very nasty, just as many others have noted. She left us a message on my husband's phone in which he said is one of the rudest messages he ever heard. Accusing us of owing them money for a missed appointment (no record of this they have never sent a bill) and essentially firing us as patients because we didn't go within 6 months during the pandemic. No one ever calls us to book these 6 months appointments and the last time I called, during the last year I was told we could wait. Regardless of the situation, the tone of the message was very, very rude.

Dr's and their staff are supposed to be caring people, especially when dealing with special needs children during difficult times like these. The ignorant tone and their eagerness to just fire clients is not necessary. Nice of them to think its ok and just be rude and leave special needs kids hanging without a pediatrician during times like these.
