This is the worst doctor I have ever seen. He has performed a surgery on my sister and it looks like he had never been to medical school. This doctor has butchered her. He had left her with no medical care no other doctor will go behind his work to fix what he has done. If you love yourself and your family members stay away from this doctor. And his medical assistant is the worst I have ever seen with patient care.BEWARE!!!!!!!!

very calming. Surgery went well, everyone at surgery did a great job, to make me feel comfortable,
and in good hands.
Receptionist could speak a little louder, for those
who don’t hear well.. otherwise very sweet and

Great overall experience! I had read some negative reviews before my first visit that had me wondering about Dr. Ljung, but after having met him and his staff, I didn't find any reason to be concerned about him performing the surgery I needed to help with back pain. He and his staff are very knowledgable and helpful (and have quite a bit of experience under their belt)!

Sometimes it was frustrating that appointments were rescheduled due to Dr. Ljung being called into surgery (which gave me further confidence in his abilities), but the staff worked with me to reschedule the visit to another convenient time for me.

Also challenging was the hour drive (one way) to get to his office in Wilmington (maybe he will consider traveling to other Wilmington Heath locations in the future?), but it was worth it!

Dr. Ljung did an excellent job with my surgery even with all the complications of surgeries in these COVID days! Also, when I had questions after the surgery I was able to write Dr. Ljung/Staff and receive answers promptly, even on their days off! They did such a good job with my surgery/recovery I was passing on their advice to my friend who had a similar surgery overseas a couple weeks after mine (her doctors did not provide as much help or instruction after her surgery)!

I have seen Dr Ljung several times. He has been great each time I seen him. On the quiet side but his calm demeanor makes it for me less stressful at the doctor office. He treated my issues and I have been great since. Mandy and the staff has been great as well.

Dr. Ljung and staff have been very helpful and comforting in working with his patients and seeing that their needs are met. He is very patient and willing to answer any questions or concerns his patient may have. Overall, I'm very pleased with his services, mannerism and and communication he has exhibited during my visitations to his office.

Dr. Ljung is great at his profession! He knew I was nervous about having a mole removal on my face and once we were in the procedure room he talked to me like we were old friends. What I loved is that he is "ECU Pirate" alum so that gave him 3 stars from me right there. But he talked me through the procedure, told me what he was doing while he was performing it, asked me multiple times if I was "okay" and the outcome was great! Mole was removed and I will have minimal to no scarring.

My experience with Dr. Ljung has been so phenomenal, I honestly can't even understand how anyone could possibly be upset with having seen him! He and his entire staff have gone above and beyond from day one.

To start, I saw him through a referral from TriCare (military) for a labia reduction. My first appointment was a consultation with Andrea, a PA. She was so pleasant and kind concerning something I felt so insecure about!

My insurance gave me quite a bit of grief in covering my surgery (needed a reduction to reduce friction and discomfort as well as repair a severe tear due to childbirth). Dr. Ljung's staff kept in close contact with me and fought for me to get my surgery covered! I was already so elated with them and hadn't even had my surgery yet!

Fast forward to my surgery... Dr. Ljung fully explained the procedure to me and gave me ample time to ask any questions or voice any concerns I had. The procedure went well and I was very satisfied.

I did have quite a bit of swelling that caused some of the sutures to split after about a week but Dr. Ljung had me come back in and fixed it right away! He also assured me that if for any reason it didn't heal properly, he could revise it later. The women at his office were even kind enough to offer to watch my 12 month old during this quick in-office procedure.

I really cannot say enough good things about my entire experience! I have one more follow up appointment and honestly feel a bit sad it's my last! Silly but they are all just so nice and sweet, it'll be odd not going back! Hopefully I'll be seeing them all again before long when I am ready for a breast augmentation. I definitely won't be going to anyone else!!!

I went to see Dr Ljung for my upper eyelids. My experience has been wonderful. He was very helpful in explaining the procedure to me.. They got this done on my insurance and I am so happy with my results. Friendly office and patient care is their number one priority I know I received it. Great choice
