Over charged for office visit based on insurance agreement. Then they were difficult to get a refund from. Office was dirty, we won't be going back.

I fully agree with the comment left before me. Dr. D is completely unhelpful with BFing, and insisted that I wean my 1yr old "soon" because there was no "need" to continue BFing. Getting a referral is next to impossible. My oldest daughter has has consistent problems with ear, chest and UT infections and our ins requires a referral for coverage. We were told that we had to meet required amount of infections within a listed time table before we could be referred to a specialist. Even though she showed signs of weak immune system, his answer has been a LONG list of Rx's some we were told to take for an undetermined amount of time! Our daughters ENT agreed within 5min that she needed pedi tubes and scheduled surgery within 2wks! This week we finally got a referral to urology. Switching pediatricians ... even if it means our daughter has to repeat several uncomfortable tests.

Don't go to this doctor if you expect any support with breastfeeding. Does not keep up on latest research and best practice with regards to breastfeeding. Very paternalistic.
