It looks like Dr.Williams has been on this board writing positive reviews bc every patient I've spoken to in the waiting room feels the same way I do. She used to be a great dr until the past 2-3 yrs she's gotten money hungry & has began solely focusing in volume vs quality of care. Be prepared to wait at least an hour past your scheduled appointment time. Also they want u to bend over backwards to accommodate their messed up schedules yet when u need an earlier or later appt she couldn't care less. She used to talk to patients but now it's in/out to get your prescriptions type appointments & she claims u need to see a therapist if u need one on one therapy. Apparently psychiatrists are just pill mills these days??? How dare me think I'd need counseling from my psychiatrist. Do yourself a favor & fins a better dr from the get go. There are plenty around.

I really cannot believe the negative comments I've read about Dr. Williams, Gary, and the staff. They have always got me back on decent time, and dr williams has always been very concerned and specific with how much meds I should take and when. I've been going there a year and don't plan on changing to any other doctor. I live a much better life without roxys, tabs, and opiates in general.

Doctor Williams has even gone so far as to yell at me, raise her voice, and even call me overweight to fat. I've gone to my original therapist who is truly like a best friend to me and broken down about her and how coldly she treated me. I've only seen her three times and I don't particularly like her. She really hurts my feeling. She told me I was stupid for doing research on my own medication that she perscribed for me. "You don't know anything about medicine, I do." Obviously, she's very 'proud' of herself because she brags about her degrees to me and such. She hardly let's us talk and she just talks and prescribes more and more medicine. I'm a teenager, I don't need to look like a pill junkie when my friends come over. I have to take several pills for her. She really hurts my feelings and she knows this. "I hope we fixed you without hurting you more..." She gave me a smile and I just slowly walked out the door. I was angry...

The front desk staff is really inconsiderate and pretty rude. Just be prepared.

My wait time was a little lengthy, but I am a new patient. There is always new paperwork/processing that needs to be done for a new patient on ANY first visit. The staff greeting was a little bland at first but it was an early appointment. The first assessment with Gary was great. He is very down to earth and very knowedgeable with addiction. It is cut and dry. No bull. When I met Dr. Williams, I felt she has an approachable personality. ..very calm, soft spoken, caring and welcoming. I personally do not feel this from most doctors. I felt comfortable. Being comfortable with whom you are speaking is typically very important for most patients. Dr. Williams gives each patient a welcome letter which outlines her promise to patients as their doctor. It mainly consists of RESPECT on every level. She only ask that you give her the same respect. Honesty, dedication, determination, HONESTY, commitment. Always be honest with yourself and with your doctor. Just do it already! I recommend her!

Expect to wait anywhere from 20-30 minutes after your scheduled appointment time. She spend maybe 10 minutes me when I'm paying for 30. My depression got really bad and instead of trying to help me figure out why, she told me my therapist deals with that, but maybe I could buy this sun machine she had in her office. There was a mistake in one of my medications and I let her know several times, I got no response and ended up being without it for over a month. Recently, I need her to fill out some insurance paperwork for me. She has had it for over a month and it's still not done. I also delivered her copies of what my other doctors wrote to help her. Still no response. I have told her multiple times that if I don't have this paperwork I lose my insurance. I would not recommend her to anyone.

She saved my life. Dr Williams will go that extra mile for her patients. U just don't see that anymore. Why she has been rated this poor score is very weird.

I have only had positive sessions with Dr. Williams. Her staff is extremely courteous and helpful, and Gary will return a voice mail almost immediately. I have never waited more than 10-15 minutes I am being treated for long-time (25 years) narcotic addiction with Suboxone which helps me tremendously, even knowing the additive quality, after being in rehab several times and attend AA/NA regularly, I know not to abuse this drug. Dr. Williams understands addiction, and is very specific in how she will prescribe for me. I am sorry about what these other patients experienced. I actually thought we were discussing two different doctors. I feel extremely blessed to have found Dr. Williams because there are so many so called addition specialists who do not know what they are doing.
