I have been Dr. Spies patient for 9 years. She is the best physician I've had. I am happy to wait for her if she is running late because she is listening to another patient. She takes the time to understand MY symptoms and has only referred me to a specialist when it was warranted. For those who complained she referred them to specialists, I am shocked. Most people complain their dr doesn't care enough to refer them to another dr! She has referred me out of her group when the situation warranted. She has a strong moral character and I am so glad she is my physician.

Dr. Jane Spies is the most caring doctor I've ever met. She is completely knowledgeable and cares deeply about her patients. She literally saved my husband's life by recognizing a serious problem and getting him immediate treatment from another physician specialist. She cares about our health and every aspect of our lives that impact it. If you can get to see her you will never find another doctor that compares. She has issues with timeliness but it is because she spends the time needed to deal with your issues. I rather have someone who will listen than someone I don't have to wait for. Jane Spies gets an A++ from me!

Dr. Spies listens to her patients and takes time with them. She does refer out (MIMA is a specialist group) but she saved my life by listening to me, when other doctors said I was fine. I had a deep infection in my abdomen, that 2 surgeons she sent me to could not find. Upon my request, she put me in the hospital and found the infection and treated it with IV antibiotics. Long story short, I am alive today because she listens to her patients. She runs late on her appointments because she spends time with her patients. I wish her new staff in Viera were as polite and helpful as the staff was in Palm Bay. Thank you Dr. Spies for my life.

Very nice doctor. Very busy and booked. Definitely likes to refer you out for every single problem. She's referred me to two different specialists for minor problems that turned out to be nothing. She sent my husband to a surgeon for a minor problem and the surgeon was a little aggravated about being bothered for such a minor issue. That's the one thing I don't like about the way she practices. She takes the time to talk on a personal level. She is very caring and uses technology to rapidly pull up your records and info as she talks. She is thorough and compassionate. She's a keeper.
