I was referred to Doctor Yadlapalli by my primary care physician, who I find to be quite informed and prepared as a physician. Prior to the appointment I visited this site and was a bit taken back, by the negative postings. I almost canceled the appointment, but decided to make my own determination after the visit, as to whether to retain this doctor for my care. Doctor Yadlapalli was very cordial, patient with my questions and detailed in his responses. I was impressed with his methodical approach concerning my issues and as well how he gathered and entwined other medical information apart from my stated visit into his overall prognosis and recommendations. I can't speak to others complaints, but I can say I was very satisfied with the service and care this doctor provided and am happy to rate him as a doctor that I will trust with my health.

Seems competent, but easily rattled. Definitely does not want to be challenged about anything. He almost made a serious error in that he had me have a nuclear stress test, then several days later I was admitted to the hospital for chest pains. He was all ready to do a very invasive test when I said "where are the results of the nuclear stress test?" He said "What test". He walked off. 30 minutes later a nurse comes in and says I can go home- no invasive test needed. No apology or even an explanation as to how he screwed up. Many other problems with this guy also such as refused to let me go to the x-ray facility which I always use because they get their results to the dr. within about 2 hours. Said he will not send anyone to a non-Sutter facility because they take too long. Went to a Sutter facility and it took them 5 days to get the results to him. He got VERY angry when confronted and said "find a new doctor if you don't like it". He is helpful with recommendations for diet.

Dr Y is the most rude and unprofessional doctor I have ever met in my life. He has a condescending demeanor and does not care for you as a person.

Dr. Yad was my mother's doctor for over 10 years. He is one of the most professional, caring doctors I have ever met. He treated my mother as if she were his own mother. After treating her for years when he found out that she had incurable stage 4 lung cancer(diagnosed by several oncologists) he was vey sensitive but frank about the prognosis and continued to care about her heart, kidneys, and liver and entire being. His biggest concern was to help her during those final months and support her with her decision on treatment, which she decided to change as the cancer progressed. I am sorry to hear about some other people's experiences with Dr. Yad, but cancer is a horrible disease that if caught early can sometmes be cured.

This doctor and staff are rude and uncaring to their patients. The staff made many unprofessional mistakes in setting appointments and other medical procedures. The doctor seemed to have an uncaring attitude and showed it by refusing to renew important prescriptions for my heart. I would not trust this doctor with my pet if i had one! Do not seek his services!

Dr. Yadlapalli was my late father's cardiologist. His bedside manner was terrible. He was cold, impersonal and always seemed irritated somehow that he had to be working. It was a sad situation all around since my father was dying, but Dr. Yadlapalli made my dad's last days even sadder. I will never forget how he told my dad that he was dying--he coldly said, "You have 5 1/2-6 months left." Those words were imprinted on my dad's brain and he died almost exactly 6 months later. Though I do not doubt his expertise, I would wish that Dr. Yadlapalli could open his own heart to his patients and see them as actual human beings.

This doctor is one of the worst I have ever met. My husband was referred to him for his heart, but also had cancer, which the referring MD was treating. 2 wks. later,Dr. Yadlapalli was unprepared on the day of my husband's first visit and actually was on the phone trying to get information about my husband's case, in earview of us, as we were being ushered into an exam room. Each time we went to his office, we had a long wait, not only in the waiting room but also in the exam room. I once looked into Dr. Y's inner office to see what could possibly be taking him so long. He was just sitting at his desk, doing nothing, while my husband, in a very weak condition, had to wait for him to appear. But worst of all, Dr. Y., IN FRONT OF MY ILL HUSBAND, firmly lectured my son to have a colonoscopy or he would end up like his father, dying of cancer. He was blaming my husband for his illness! I would NEVER go back to this doctor for anything. He is callous, uncaring, and has no empathy at all!
