He never really helped me, we just sat there and he'd ask question not related to my issues. I went for a long time and didn't get the slightest bit better. He made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Played 'footsie' with me and gave me nicknames.

Dr. Mooney is very helpful, empathetic, and insightful. I wholeheartedly recommend him. As a previous commenter said, therapy is not a quick fix. Dr. Mooney is a great person to help you through the tough times.

Dr. Mooney is a smart man, and doesn't suffer fools gladly. Like all psychologists, he is an instrument, not a cure. Most answers lie within each of us. As a person who helps unearth these answers, he is both helpful and insightful. If you're one of those looking for a person to solve your problems, he is the wrong person. If you're looking for a guide to lead you from darkness, and if you are committed to getting well, he is the person whom you seek. My physician recommended him. I will be leaving him soon, because he has helped me find the peace and resolve for which I was looking.

He talked about HIS issues. Also, he was emotional (cried).He admitted to bartering for services. Not helpful at all...
