Dr. Sutherland has helped my child through a very difficult nine years. He is always calm, patient, attentive, and helpful. I don't know how we would have made it through this time without his expert guidance and support. He is very understated and relaxed, even when we were a mess, which was so very helpful. He's grounded, down-to-earth, and invested in his patients. Sure, you may have a wait a while for an appointment, and yes, he has a packed schedule, but that's because he's really good at what he does. We highly recommend him.

I am BEYOND amazed at the work ethic that Dr. Sutherland has. He may be late to his appointments, although he always gives you all of the attention that you need, and makes you feel like your time matters. I will continue to go see him in the future, as I feel he has helped me more than anyone in my 7 years of need. I am thankful to have met such a great doctor who genually cares about his patients. Will be seeing him as long as I need.

For the life of me I can't understand this Dr getting good ratings. We gave him years to live up to the good peer ratings he was given while our child continued to ride the phychological roller coaster. He regulararly yawned in our faces and never apologized. Run, don't walk, away from this guy. We stayed as long as we did because he had a fantastic support staff.

Dr Sutherland changed the way I thought in the most critical stage of my adolescence . Hè is almost always late but that's because he spends sufficient time with his patients And wont make any patient feel bad for needing to talk longer . I owe him my life for how good he was to me an how he never made me feel like an inconvenience even when he was tired (I've noticed many docs do) . I am currently seeing another doctor because I left the state and am now 20 , and though she may be punctual I'd much rather do the wait for Sutherland . I wish there were more doctors as compasionate as well as with good humor .

Dr. Sutherland has been my Psychiatrist for more than seven years. Although the wait time to get in has grown in that time, his service to me has gotten even better. He listens, is very well informed, and makes his patients feel comfortable. I have at one time or another visited a different doctor, but always quickly returned to Eastover. From my experience, he is the #1 Psychiatrist in Charlotte concerning child-teenage patients. Though I am now 24, when I first saw him I was 16, and despite my age being a bit beyond his normal client's range, he has continued to offer excellent care. I was so glad that he agreed to see me beyond my childhood years.

Even when I have a midmorning appointment, I often catch Dr. Sutherland yawning, and not very discreetly. He's kind and patient, but I think he may need some sort of hiatus. Maybe you should rethink adding yourself to his obviously overcrowded schedule.
