Have been seeing Dr. Cukierman for a number of years now. He came very highly rated by my family doctor in Lockport. I have found Dr. Cukierman to be business like, and professional. He does have a friendly manner if you look for it. His office is somewhat "old school" but so what? You don't see a doctor for his waiting room. The staff of ladies have always be friendly and gone out of their way to be helpful. All in all, I don't believe you could find a better endocrinologist.

I don't understand a lot of the bad reviews. I liked this doctor, straight shooter, dry humor, and very smart. He does listen to your concerns, and what your symptoms are. He is very honest and I appreciate a doctor like that.

Dr. Curiekman is pleasant when you get to know him. I've had a number of appointments with him and he's on time most of the time. He appears to care about my health . I would recommend him to other's who have diabetes.

This doctor is miserable, rude, distant and condescending. Went elsewhere for thyroid care. Had to cancel 1 appointment because I got called into work as a nurse. Received a letter from him that he no longer wanted me as a patient. Good, was looking for another doctor anyway. He has a bedside manner of a wet blanket. Staff is the worse also. Good riddance!!!

Terrible. Stay away ... Just stay away . Never tested my blood. Told me it was my primary's job to request a1c. And that I need to demand it from them . Just dismissed me basically saying good luck , no follow up appointment just a bill for $250 for 5 minutes of being berated and dismissed . These doctors should be on the other side of the table

Time to retire. The staff is rude and do is the Dr. Went as new patient for thyroid issues. He told me "I can't help you go back to your primary." He was useless and rude. Office was dated and dirty.
Can't even call him a Dr. Just a sad, rude man. Wouldn't even take my dog to him if I had one.

Called to see if he could see my husband who's blood sugar was almost 500 480 to be exact his secretary was very rude to me on the phone since my husband had missed his last appt do to his father in laws death the last time he was there his blood sugars were normal and dr asked him why he was there the Dr was in the office and said they couldn't see him til the next week Monday It was We'd when I called I asked her if it is safe for him to have a blood sugar of 480! For another 5 days she put me on hold then the Dr came to the phone and said they couldn't find his chart (I forgot to mention that)I asked him since he was in the office all day if I could bring him in to be checked he told me he is only seeing new pts that he should go to an ER where he would prob sit on a cart all day he was the last Dr he has seen for his diabetis so the hosp would call him anyway at a cost of several thousands of dollars It would have been a lot less expensive if he was seen in the office

The office staff (all but the one girl) is very rude both in person and on the phone. I needed a new script for blood work and they wouldn't do it because I lost the original script. Wanted me to come in for an office visit for the script ($40.00 copay). The waiting room is filthy. Dr. Cukierman himself is a great doctor. I even got him to laugh. He doesn't like to be lied to. If you are honest he will help you. He is old school though and wants to see progress or he will send you to another Doctor. I am getting new insurance that his office does not take and I am sad to have to start over with another Doctor. This is not a Doctor for super sensitive people, if you want to be coddled by your Doctor then he is not for you. If you are going to work on your Diabetes then he is the one for you. Just don't expect any professional courtesy from the office staff.
