This doctor was very unprofessional. I was going to see him being newly diagnosed with type I diabetes .
At each visit he requested I undress to my bra and underwear. He then would give me a drape the size of a wash cloth to cover , for his "exams".
I had never seen a specialist before as I was 22, and unaware of this was normal or not .
Each visit was very uncomfortable, as he would have me lie on my side and look at barely clothed body.
The last straw was when he did a breast exam on me. I was seeing him for my diabetes and he did a breast exam ! That was the last visit . I should have reported him , I'm sad I did not. A few months later a CO worker went to see him for thyroid issues, he did the same to her and also a vaginal exam !!!!! She did call cops after her visit , I don't remember what came of it , but he is still practicing. I would never go to this doctor or recommend him. He is disgusting by using his profession and taking advantage of young women .

While watching a a Dr. Phil episode about "White Coat Betrayal" I was reminded about a very inappropriate experience at my appointment with this doctor when I was younger. I have been bothered by it questioning if I should have reported it, but not wanting to ruin someone's career as I have rethought about this over and over trying to justify his actions. I never went back and now wonder if similar has happened to anyone else.

I have been to nearly 5 endos in this area before I was referred to Dr. Haque. He is THE most competent, dedicated and thorough doctor that I have ever seen and I wish that he was a primary. I have referred so many patients to him. People who know me, know what lack of trust I have in most doctors. Why would people be upset that he gives a thorough exam? You are much more than than just that little gland in your neck. Primary care physicians don't have the time to do a complete physical exam. A few years ago I was having severe pains in my lower ab that my primary blew off as probable scar tissue from my hysterectomy 30 yrs. ago and to just watch it. When I mentioned the problem to Dr. Haque, he sent me for an ultra sound immediately. He really cares about his patients and I trust his judgement and opinions.

Several years ago would have rated much higher, but it seems as time has passed so has the quality of service and care. Recently received a letter saying that he will no longer prescribe a certain hormone replacement, but offered no explanation or alternative. When questioned, he said I absolutely still need the medication but I should get it from my primary or seek another endocrinologist. He wanted to continue to see me for two other medications, but not the third. Why on earth would I want to have two specialists in the same field? After nearly 15 years, I am now searching for another specialist.

I typically don't review doctors, but when I see the number of women who have written about how Dr. Haque required them to disrobe completely, I feel the need to add my tale to this log. He did the exact same thing to me, and insisted that squeezing my breasts was part of the exam and would give him information about my thyroid. Very unprofessional, made me very very uncomfortable. I went to him twice, and each time found the experience uncomfortable, and even surreal. (The office was full of paper files; the office staff were not rude, rather, they seemed overworked; and he didn't even have a nurse -- he came out to get patients himself.) I will never return.

Dr. Haque has been my endocrinologist for the past 3 years. Thank God I only had to visit him in person once a year. I should have never gone back after my first visit when I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. I noted that I had no family history of thyroid problems and he responded that "someone is lying". Ordinarily I would have thought this was his sense of humor but people who are familiar with him know that he does not have one. Dr. Haque's interpersonal skills are nonexistent. Overall he did very little to help me other than keep adjusting my thyroid medicine dosage based purely on my blood work results. He never had much to say..actually it was kind of creepy how quiet he was during exams and visits. I asked him questions about a skin issue that was concerning me and he brushed it off and said it must be unrelated to my thyroid or medicine. I left feeling like I was an idiot for even thinking it was related. Come to find out 2 years later it was directly related to my thyroid condition. The last straw was my horrible encounter via phone with his office staff. Always short with words and bordering rude, I called with a scheduling problem and needed my script for blood work faxed to the lab since the mailed copy would not reach my mailbox in time for my lab appointment. (BTW they will not mail you a script. You either have to go pick it up in person or send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to them!) You would have thought I asked her to drive it there herself. The woman in the office was so astoundingly rude and told me that she would NOT fax it and perhaps I should change my appointment. When I told her that I had already scheduled my appointments around work (even taking a morning off to do so) she replied "I don't know what to tell you." She was absolutely awful. Her tone was very condescending and treated me with no respect as a patient. Even after telling her that I was currently dealing with some medical issues with my thyroid she maintained her unwillingness to help. She was completely unwilling to help me, therefore I will NEVER return to that office. I hope that the next person she treats this way has the nerve to call her on it.

I would guess based on the reviews his office staff has changed over the years. The front desk lady was rude, the whole office is run on type writers! I had to remove all my clothing .. he said it was to check my skin. He offered me a pap smear and breast exam! NO THANKS! I was uncomfortable. Despite that I was hoping he would be helpful. He was anything but. His advice was "you are fat because you are depressed, you are depressed because you are fat, your thyroid at 5.9 is normal, no other tests are needed. Eat less and work out more. Your cortisol levels are high because your stressed because you have 5 children, I would not advise you have more" Worst doctors visit of my life.

This Doctor has no personality at all....None. Very short tempered. His staff does EVERYTHING by paper so there is no computers in the office at all. Only takes cash or check. If you have a benefits card.....forget it. Whenever I call I feel like I am being scolded or I am bothering them. I would NOT recommend "Doctor" Haque to anyone.

Dr. Haq was friendly and personable, and gave a very thorough exam himself, much more than I was expecting. He took my blood pressure in a way that held me very close, and I was uncomfortable with it. He seemed upset that my PCP had ordered all the appropriate blood tests in advance. He was also unhappy with my choice of treatment, and I was unhappy with the way he managed my treatment. When I questioned him too closely he would sometimes get angry with me. I eventually dropped him for another endocrinologist with whom I am very satisfied.

This Dr.is knowedgable, but hems & haws at correct treatment and how to proceed next. I was also asked to completely disrobe, and was quite embarrased when he asked if he could do a breast exam. I said no, and did not go back. The office is vey behind the times, does not use electronic payment system. Makes you pay by cash or check, even though you have a flexible spending card.
