This doctor does NOT look outside of the box. He only wants the run of the mill, average patient. If you have anything rare, he will not even try to help and brush you off.

Horrible doctor. Do not go to him unless you are a basic case with all the proper ana and rf bloodwork. That's all he will judge you by.

He has been my rheumatologist for several years. He does listen to me and considers my input. We disagree at times but I feel that he has shown more compassion and been helpful in my situation. I referred family and friends to him. While the wait time is not always to my liking I chalk it up to his individualized care and thoroughness. I spend more time in his office speaking with him than most of my docs who are on their strict 15 min visit.

I was supposed to be seen by another Doctor but the staff somehow messed up who I was seeing. I waited to be seen for about an hour. I went in to see him for a skin allergic reaction and left with a prescription for a nasal inhaler and no answer for the skin allergy. Any suggestion that I had, he shot down and didn't offer any kind of remedy besides an over the counter lotion that I ended up being allergic to. When I called back to schedule an appointment to be seen by the Doctor I was supposed to see in the first place (the Doctor I was referred to) I was told that I would have to wait about two weeks for both doctors to sign off on the transfer. I told them they made a mistake scheduling the first appointment and that I was having a reaction and wanted to be seen as soon as possible and they told me I had to wait. It is now 10+ days later and I still haven't been able to schedule an appointment.

The staff had me sit in a small waiting room for about 1 hour, nobody looked in on me or offered any explanation (or apology) for the long wait.

He was quite late to his appt with me which is quite off putting. I also had to wait a considerable amount of time for him to return after my test was complete. He also is not much of a talker and most definitely doesn't have a friendly disposition. I was hopin my experience would have been better with him. I felt quite unimportant when we first met, like oh, this patient is only here for allergies, probably just a hypocondriac because I was not having strong symptoms that day. He cut me off a few times as I was explaining myself. He seems to be rather knowledgable but not compassionate at all. I prefer my health care providers to be more personable with a warmer fuzzier feeling.

It is hard to tell if this doctor is truly good or not. He relies upon x-ray reports from Borg Imaging, no looking at them himself. He really does not listen to the patient. He missed a very crooked & swollen thumb and had to rely upon Borg report. When the observations did not agree with report, he said nothing and offered no opinion. Much of my data & testing doesn't add up and doesn't match what my primary care physician suggested might be the problem, and he offers no real opinion as to why or what might be going on. I was an EMT for 25 years, have had multiple orthopedic surgeries on joints, and have had excellent doctors in the past. I have had numerous dealings with various doctors (for my parents) and have seen both good and bad. I have not seen anything amazing from this doctor to warrant great reports, but I have not seen anything agregiously wrong either. If you are looking for some pills to relieve your aches, he is probably okay. Anything more complex, find another.

The staff members were VERY friendly. The office was neat and clean. That is where the positive experience ended. Very long wait time, over 2 hours for the first appointment. When he finally came into the exam room, the appointment was interrupted by a knock on the door and he left and went to another exam room. Total he spent less than a half hour with me. I think this is unacceptable for a consultation appointment. He does NOT listen. Does NOT want to hear about healthy history. Very disappointed in my experience.
