If I could give her zero stars, I would. Her staff are more friendly than she is. She has a terrible bedside manner and does not listen to concerns, and just brushes them off.

Dr. Van Heerden is awesome! I have been seeing her for more than 10 years!

I have had Dr. Van Heerden as my Dr. for many years. Probably from the time she started practicing in Leduc , at Rimrock Medical Clinic. When she moved across the hall to Griffith's
Medical Centre, I moved with her. She has been the best Dr. I can imagine having. Always helpful always caring, and spends all the time with you, that you need. If she doesn't have an answer for me she will find out, and if it is important she will phone me with the answer, or send me on to a referral. She actually saved my life by referring me for a heart problem that resulted in an aortic valve replacement and a mitral valve repair. She took me off of antidepressants, as well as some other medications she felt I didn't need.
If she is on vacation or away for some reason, the other Dr.s at Griffiths take you in as if you were their own patient, then they work with each other so all are on the same page regarding your problems.
I really enjoy the front end staff, They are a very helpful and comical group, always finding ways to fit you in or find you another Dr. if your own happens to be away.
Griffith's medical centre and Dr. Van Heerden are definitely 10 / 10.

Couldn't ask for a better practitioner. She is very knowledgeable and forward thinking. She takes time to hear your concerns and does not rush through your issues.
