I've been a patient of Dr Bock -- Hughes for at least 10 years. I think she is an exceptional physician, with broad knowledge of all things ENT. I e seen her many times in her office, as well as having two surgical procedures. The first time, she repaired a deviated septum, which was a breeze. The second procedure, though having nothing to do with her skills as a surgeon, did not go truly as well. In fact, I credit her skills for saving my life. Along with the anesthesiologist, they were able to intubate me after I went into anaphylaxis due to a new blood pressure medication. Within a few minutes of waking up in the recovery room, I went into anaphylaxis, my throat closed off and I was quickly returned to the surgical theatre to either be intubated or have a Tracheostomy performed. Dr Hughes and the anesthesiologist were able to intubate me, saving me from having to breathe through a hole in my throat for the rest of my life.

I cannot, for the life of me, understand the other ratings here. They fully misrepresent the skills, competence, and compassion of Dr Bock -- Hughes! If I were able to give this amazing physician the number of stars deserved in this review, I'd give here a billion stars!

Bad doctor who caused surgical complications. What is worse the procedure or having a doctor who doesn't utilize the proper safety precautions to prevent injury to you during surgery. I highly recommend a different doctor.

I thought it was just me, but confirmed with other patients, Dr. Bock has a very "cold" bedside manner. Burrr....give me a parka! Find someone who has more ability to interact with humans.....
