Although she takes her time with her patients, she seems not to know some basic information, such as when cataract surgery should be performed. She also does not seem to know when a slab-off is required.

I have never been treated so rudely by any service provider. I did arrive 10 min. late, but had called prior to indicate that I would be. When I arrived, the recep was standing talking to someone at the counter. There were no patients waiting. I was then RUDELY told "TOO LATE" by the woment the recep was talking to. I said ok and walked out of the office. A few min. later i walked back in to tell the Rude person- that a better approach would have been- I am sorry we are not able to see you would you like to reschedule as I was a new patient. The women said- I call it like it is, and that maybe I could be seen by the Doctors down the hall. I asked who she was- and she said "Dr. Milani" I was shocked that a Dr. would speak to anyone in this manner. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. Business must be good despite the empty waiting room and the fact that she was just standing talking to the receptionist and doing nothing. DR. MILANI WAS VERY RUDE AND ARROGANT.

Very awkward and uncomfortable appointment, and the prescription given was completely wrong. New glasses made with Dr. Milani's prescription are useless.

Dr. Milani did a routine eye examination, prescribed for my dry eye condition and discovered a spot in my cornea that should be watched. I found her to be professional and knowledgeable.

Maybe the WORST Dr in Northern Virginia, at least the worst of my life. Had an eye exam, which I drove to, in the past when having my eyes dilated, I couldn't see to drive afterwards. Dr. Milani, held my prescription hostage until I came back 1 week later to have eyes dilated, 2 co pays and an additional $50 for contact fitting fees, I finally had my prescription. I guess business must be slow for this Dr, she billed my insurance company lots of $, and me $120, and I have insurance. From the looks of her empty waiting area, I guess she needed someone to pay her rent this month. I will never return to this Dr again !!

The doctor was willing to stay after normal office hours or even come in on a weekend if my condition worsened. She encouraged me to contact her after hours if an emergency arose; she did not hesitate to treat me or tell me to go to emergency as many physicians will. She asks many questions and considers all your input.
