I am Dr. Sotrop's newest fan. My former doctors at Healthpoint along with their unhelpful staff treated me like a car going through Jiffylube for 5 years. I had mentioned shortness of breath and a tight chest many times, but every time I was told that it was a blood pressure issue and I was told the problem was I wasn't keeping my blood pressure in check. During that four years I was hospitalized twice for the same condition. Three weeks ago I left Healthpoint on Van****and started to see Dr. Sotrop because I was treated like an unwanted guest there for the last time. I was at the point that I seriously thought I was about to pass away because my condition over the last five years had worsened to the point I was almost bedridden. Enter Dr. Sotrop who immediately sent me to a puliminary specialist. I was finally correctly diagnosed and now on the way back to good health. I told Dr. Sotrop when I first met him that I needed "House". He came through for me big time.

Dr. Sotrop is a great doctor, I have been seeing him since I was a child. I think he is an excellent doctor. Very warm and caring. He spends the time you need with him and never seems to rush you.

The front desk staff is horrible and unprofessional. Too many good Dr. offices out there to have to put up with this one.

dr sotrop is the best doc i have found in the tampa area to date. he is friendly, knowledgeable, and takes the time to ask the important questions. he is very warm - not at all clinical as docs these days have a tendency of being. i would reccommend him to anyone within driving distance who is looking for a great GP.

Amazing Dr! I have been going to him since I was a little girl and remember seeing his dad also. My entire family sees him and I am concerned with who will be my physician when he retires. :( Very thorough, patient, and helpful!

I have been seeing Dr.Sotrop since I was little, my family saw his Dad when he was a Dr. I wouldnt see anyone else. Best Dr. you could find.
