Another neurologist called him Butcher Boyer, He said he had several of his "victims" in his office recently. After surgery never walked again .

never return phone calls, don't set up tests, there is a new Dr. there and his recovery plan conflicts with Dr. Boyer's orders, still in pain and numbness and don't know where to go

DR. BOYER performed spinal surgery on me & I am 10 times worse than prior to surgery... REFUSED to listen to my concerns & when I questioned my "complications" I was DISMISSED AS A PATIENT.... WOULD NOT LET HIM TREAT MY DEAD DOG !!!!... STAFF NEVER RETURNS PHONE CALLS & ARE EXTREMELY RUDE !!!!

said surgery was going to make me pain free...still in pain...ignored my ailments...couldn't believe I was still in pain...said I would feel positive results right after surgery...sought second opinion after surgery...was advised to seek disability... second doctor not only told me growth would most likely appear again (Dr. Boyer never mentioned this), but also additional surgery would have a low level of success. I wish I did more research instead of going with insurance recommended doctor.

the surgery was not a success. The nurse was beyond rude. The doctor was hard to get a hold of. Good luck trying to schedule an appointment who are transferred to voice mail and never get a call back. I tried reaching out for solutions...instead Dr. Boyer released me as a patient ... with no answers/ solutions provided. Now I am still in pain...worse off then before the surgery.

I first went to Dr. Boyer for back issues, said I did not need surgery until I brought x-rays in from another Dr. who was going to perform surgery, so went to Boyer for second opinion. Well he miss the fracture I had in my back when looking at my Mri's until I brought x-ray in. Then apologized for missing it. He finally performed a fusion on me. The fusion did not take. So he sent me to pain management. Well back really getting bad now so went back to him with Mri's showing several herniations and fx now touching the cord. He did a bone scan and called me and said it was the fusion even though the report said it was something else. Now I am in extreme pain now living with morphine and other meds, can barely move, walk without extreme leaking my pants an having to lay down all the time. Then in his reports writing I basically was a hypochondriac which I am filing SSD, lost my home of 30 yrs and homeless now. And before all this always mention pleasant pt and never any hypochondria.

What can I say about Dr. Boyer, he saved my life. I was admitted into the er with a ruptured brain aneursym and he performed surgery the next morning. I am very thankful to have him as my neurosurgeon. I am convienced that if he had not been my surgeon and I was given someone else that I would not have had such a great outcome. He has always been very kind and available to answer any questions or concerns that I have had. I trust him!!

Dr Boyer performed neck and back surgery on me as well as neck surgery on my husband. He is an excellent Dr. He cares about his patients and his work is top notch. I would recommend Dr Boyer to anyone that needs surgery. You will be in excellent hands..

A "professional" in every sense of the word. Came to see me every day in the Hospital until discharged which was a 2 week period. Cares about his patients. I Recommend him to anyone needing his A-One medical services.
