I was very thankful for the care that Dr. Bilik and his staff gave me while I was a patient in Sarasota Memorial Hospital. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Excellent, overworked surgeon in a TERRIBLE practice. The office is utter confusion.

This office has taken over two weeks to schedule a biopsy that the doctor talked to us about. i think it is criminal to have the doctor tell you his concerns about your health and the office doesnt respond to follow ups or scheduling procedures. I urge my husband to leave this practice and get a phyiscian that respects their patients.

Very good Doctor. His staff is terrible. Per Dr. Bilik's orders, I was to have a procedure done yesterday. No call from surgery scheduler, despite numerous phone calls to the office, and surgery scheduler and office manager, there have been NO return phone calls. Apparently, mere patients with medical issue are not of any importance.

An absolute disaster of an office, staff organization, and technology. They treat their elderly patients like their time doesn't matter. Disaster from a coordination perspective so dissapointed.

Dr. Billik Review
I was a patient of Dr. Bilik's for almost 12 years. However, Dr. Bilik himself is a good Doctor. However, I found the staff that I had to deal with were incompetent and unprofessional.
I put up with the incipience for twelve years and finally grew tired of it. After I told the person in charge of the front desk my feelings, things became worse. I was having a problem, and none of my calls to speak with Dr. Bilik were returned. When I tried to make an appointment to see him, I was put on hold and disconnected several times. Sometimes when I called, I would reach a recording saying to leave a message, and a scheduler would call me back. No one ever did.
In desperation, I had to see another doctor on an emergency basis.
I write this after leaving several messages over numerous days to make an appointment with Dr. Bilik. I went directly to a scheduling recording, left a message, and was not called back each time.

I was required to wait for 60 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. Bilik was rushed and not especially communicative. I want a physician to take a little time and explain the situation. He seems to want me to ask questions to get what I need. I am shopping for another specialist.

Love Dr. Bilik but like others have said, office staff horrible. They never return calls and are rude and condescending. Unfortunately, I will switch doctors because of this but wonder why the doctors in this practice don’t address this issue. Apparently the staff run the doctors.

Called before the appointment, no call back. No reminders. Waited and hour-and a quarter to see Dr.
He was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful.
