I love Dr silverman! I've been with him for over ten years. He was the only dr that treated me like a "human" since I have a pain condition that is not apparent to the naked eye. I will miss him so much, but I can't say i'm not happy that he is going into research and teaching. He always loved talking about new things he had learned and sharing with us patients. We are really losing one of the best dr's all around. I wish him the best and hope to give him a huge hug the next time I see him for being so good to me all of these years!

I have been going to Dr. Silverman since 2001-02, I adore him as a doctor. He listens, asks questions, has a sense of humor, a compassiinate bedside manner and there is a real doctor /patient relationship! If you don't want a treatment he doesn't push it on you in anyway. He also is really into research and gives you a copy of the research when he makes a suggestion, you make the final decision. I can't say enough good this about him! Sadly, he will no longer have a patient practice as of September 30,2015...I am devastated! I moved to flagstaff a couple of years ago and have made the painful trips down just to see he instead of changing doctors; that is how awesome I think he is!! I have known the office staff for a long time. Debbie is wonderful! Debbie follows the doctors orders, especially where medication is concerned. Dr. Silverman is very strict where pain medication is concerned and she follows through with this. She has a wonderful sense of humor and works with your schedule. Susanne was a bit stern when she first started and can has come off that way. When she first started I didn't even want to deal with her, but this has gotten better over the last couple of years and she does a better job. Mary Ann is a tough lady, but nice at heart. Again takes a while dealing with her, but when she comes around she is very nice. I am truly heartbroken that I have to find a new doctor. I have checked on the three doctors that were referred and based on comments that don't even come close to Dr Silverman. I wish Dr Silverman and staff the best in whatever they do in the future. Glad I still have at least 1 more appointment with him.

I have been a patient of his for 23 years. I appreciate his way of dealing with me as a patient. And does not take offense when I take an active interest in my treatment. His staff has always treated me well.

I love Dr. Silverman he is a great and caring Dr. His staff is another story. Mary Ann is ok and Susan is good but Debbie the receptionist is a control freak. She makes decisions that the dr should be making she is a receptionist and should just get the info provided by a patient and forward this to the dr that doesn't pertain to her! She becomes obsessed with a patient when a patient is requesting meds and it is early or if the meds need to be changed she answers for the dr with a very condescending attitude! I have sat in the office and heard her do this and say it very loudly as to try and intimidate other patients! Very unproffessional! She has become complacent as to her doing her job too long! Dr Silverman is an asset to his proffession and it is very sad that Debbie has or thinks she has this power to treat patients in this manner! Please Dr reel her back in! Dr. Silverman is NOT accepting new patients (contrary to what this website indicates). When I called to make my first appointment, Debbie (who answered the phone) abruptly said"he is not taking new patients." Then she hung up. I'm actually glad that he's not taking new patients. It raises a lot of questions about him & his practice if he has people like Debbie representing him to the public.

He is the best in his field. He explains everything, wants you to feel better, listens to you and will try your ideas. He is willing to stand up to insurance companies which is so rare but he wants you to get the service you need. I am happy to have found him and have referred others to him, especially for fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue which is a REAL medical problem.

Dr. Silverman is one of the best in his field. If you want a doctor to tell you the truth he is the man. I really enjoy his approach to treatment he wants you to get well. He takes his time and will chat with you. Aslo he is one of only three doctors who treat Fibromylagia. I tell people to see him all the time.
