Dr. Ben Spivey of Ocala was awesome!! He spent time with me in the room and didn't want to rush me. He also answered all of my questions about my new dentures.

what a joke...A dentist that's been accused of fraud and perform poor dentistry can still think that he can be call a dentist.. See Ocala.com and the State Board of Dentistry.

I had a toothache and no one else was open on a Saturday. Thank goodness Dr. Spivey was. He took care of me and got me out of pain. I am very thankful for what he did.

I was a patient of Spivey in spring 2010. His price for a badly designed cantilever bridge was considerably more than my back home dentist wanted. Spivey explained his price by saying "But I am an artist." It seemed to be tilted too much inward when he was done. I was leaving for the north and he told me that if I still felt that way when I came back in the fall he would replace it. During the summer the unsupported tooth of the bridge broke off. The material to which the porcelain was bonded had little sheer properties. When I returned in fall - I found Spivey was gone. Bad experience. Not true that you get what you pay for.

I paid him $3,000 for peridontal cleaning that I could have gotten from any other dentist for around $1,000. Also, I fell at work and broke a front tooth. He pulled a good tooth, the broken tooth and was supposed to fix a cap. Before he did the work, I had a lovely smile, thanks to a dentist in California. After his work, I have a bugs bunny smile and he said I had to live with it. The insurance company paid him $3770 for the procedure. I felt something was wrong but I was leaving the next day for four months so there was no time to do anything about it. I did nothing later because I thought it was too late. I only told people to stay away from him. When I first went to him he told me that I had a beautiful smile. He even sent me a note thanking me for coming to his practice and remarking that I had a beautiful smile. That's not the case now. He even had a TV in the waiting room that showed a terrible smile turned into a lovely smile. What a joke. Anyway, he got what he deserved.
