In 2000 I was referred to Dr. Pieper for head pain, skull tenderness and a lump. Long story short, I had a benign bone lesion growing inside of my skull. Dr. Pieper reassured me and he told me that he was going to remove the lesion and remove part of my skull and replace it with a material to make sure that the lesion will never grow back! At least, not in that area. The surgery was a success!!! Dr. Pieper was an excellent top notch surgeon! I needed to see him again recently only to find out that he had passed away! I was so saddened by this news.
May Dr. Pieper Rest In Peace. I will never ever forget him. God Bless his family!!!

Words can not express our gratitude towards Dr. Pieper. Our 22 yr old son was diagnosed with one of the biggest acoustic neuroma. I believe God used Dr. Pieper to save our son's life. He is the best of the best, and after having 2 surgeries, our son is tumor free with no radiation or chemo needed. Thank you and be blessed, Dr Pieper. The Gavras

My husband saw Dr. Pieper today, 2-25-15, after diagnosis of a pituitary tumor at the VA medical center in Detroit. After the VA suggested a referral to an outside Neurosurgeon and me working with Dr. Pieper for over 16 years, I knew who I was taking him to see. DR. PIEPER sat with us, went thru his films, told us our options, then told us what he would do. I knew he would be open and honest with us. I chose him because of his specialty with pituitary tumors, I didnt want anyone but the best to check him out, thats why I chose him, my recommendations to anyone with a pituitary tumor. Dr. Daniel Pieper, thanks for your kindness, truthfulness, concern and your care. Wesley & Doris

As a teenager who had a surgery done by Dr. Pieper, he is absolutely phenomenal. My parents had a conflict with him about telling the complete truth while in the hospital, and there is a slight wait when at his office. However, he is well worth it!! Would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Pieper is wonderful. He likes things his way so your care is always in his hands! If you have a problem the hospital staff or office staff will call or email him. You always know the answer you are getting is from him. He is caring a very personable doctor and I feel he truly cares about you the patient. He is assertive with his treatment however, gentle in his care, attitude and compassion.

Outstanding neurosurgeon!!! He prevented my mother from becoming a quadriplegic from a C2 fracture. He is brilliant and I would not go to anyone else for neurosurgery. He was kind, reassuring and caring with my mother and our family. He is the best!!

I was on the brink of becoming totally paralyzed. Dr. Pieper did a Anterior Cervical Distectomy with fusion at C3-C4-C5. It has only been one day and I have already regained most of my ability to walk and some of the mobility in my hands/fingers. I am hoping for a total recovery. This a fantastic doctor in all categories
