I've had rhinoplasty with amazing results. No one can tell!! Dr. Hewell is highly ethical and reputable. He is extremely approachable so it is a wonder why a dissatisfied client wouldn't reach out directly to him to discuss their concerns.

He botched my nose job. Left me with a lump and would not fix it. It is a mess. Do not go to him. He does not stand by his work.

The doctor did a great job removing a deep facial mole. Unfortunately, he personally did not remove my stitches and had some woman assistant do it. For days I felt like a stitch or two was still inside my face. I am not a medical professional and thought maybe it was dried blood. When it got worse, I called them and they told me to come back in. It was determined that a stitch was left in by accident at which point my skin had grown over it and they had to dig it out of my face! It was extremely painful. I now have a good size facial scar because of the forgotten stitch. Nothing was mentioned about fixing the new scar that they caused. Do not have anyone but the doctor remove your stitches especially if it's on your face. I've lived with this facial scar for 20 years now and reminded on a daily basis of the assistant's inept education of removing facial stitches.

I have been going to Dr. Hewell for over 20 years for many procedures. They vary from nose surgery, breast surgery, liposuction, etc. He has always been very professional, kind, and I have had great results. He has always been honest about any of my concerns and expectations which is a big deal with plastic surgery. I tremendously appreciate his expertise and feed back. I hope he does not retire soon, I need to see you again!

Dr Hewell is an AMAZING plastic surgeon. At the age of 21 I decided to undergo my first type of surgery ever. As you can imagine I was extremely nervous for this procedure. For months on end I did my research on many surgeons in the Chicagoland area, from the moment I met Dr. Hewell and his daughter Dr Fisher I felt much more at ease. Dr Hewell takes the time to listen to your concerns he answers all of your questions. He performed otoplasty on me, the procedure was so well done, it exceeded my expectations. I am forever grateful for his amazing work, he has given me the confidence i've always wanted. Dr Hewell is far more than amazing!

Dr. Hewell is hands down a true professional and a great plastic surgeon.
After my first consultation, I walked out of his office feeling very impressed with him and his staff. he has a great bedside manner, is friendly, honest and very caring. He made me feel very comfortable and gave me an entire education on what my procedure would involve.

Having my surgery in his state-of-the-art surgical facility rather than at a hospital was a very positive, intimate, and private experience. I couldn’t be happier with the results of my eye surgery. Dr. Hewell did a fabulous job and as a result I have had 3 more major procedures in the last few years. Obviously, I trust him and value his excellent surgical skills. I have recommended Dr. Hewell to many friends and family members and will continue to do so. I won’t go anywhere else.

Dr. Hewell is AMAZING!!! After my first consultation I knew he was the perfect surgeon. He spent way more time then he was supposed to and answered all my questions. I had my breast augmentation in February 2016. I went from an A cup to a full C cup. He made my breasts look so natural and definitely picked the right size for my body. I am completely satisfied with my results. His staff was very caring as well through the whole process. Overall, it was the best experience and I am very grateful to have found such a knowledgable person to do my surgery. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He truly cares about his patients and what they want.

I went to Dr. Hewell by the suggestion of my nearest dearest friend. I will never ever go anywhere else. I needed to get my silicone implants changed out. Now, almost a month after surgery, I can't even think about the fact I didn't know of Dr. Hewell the first time around. Besides the fact that he is beyond an amazing plastic surgeon, his staff, along with the whole experience, goes above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable and knowledgeable every step of the way. I went with a sightly larger size and could not be happier. Not only did Dr. Hewell ensure the size was a good fit with my body type, but we thoroughly discussed all implants options available at both the appointment and the pre-op. In addition, the day of the surgery, both Dr. Hewell and the nurse, ensure I knew what was occurring, what size was desired and the type of implant chosen. During the pre-op, the nurse (who was also my surgical nurse), walked through every inch of what to expect, procedures for preparing for surgery, medications needed, asked of allergies, guidelines to follow the day before - day of - days after, set appointment for next day post-op, read through the papers needed to be signed and patiently answered all my questions. The entire staff was so personable and enthusiastic that I truly felt at home and at ease, despite having to go in for surgery. The surgery itself couldn't have gone any smoother. The entire office eased my day of jitters. The nurse and Doc again walked me through the procedure. The end results - made me speechless. These implants do NOT look like implants. To a stranger - they look real!!! Who would have thought I could have gotten so lucky! He re-shaped the formation / lining to better suit my thin frame. The nite of the surgery, the nurse called to ensure I was feeling okay. What office does that??!! I was blown away at such a seemingly simple gesture that meant the world to me. The next morning, I had my post-op. Loved how the staff was just as excited as I was. They continued to answer all my questions about the do's and don't of post surgery. I have had weekly follow-ups since the surgery date which will start to grow further and further apart. This is not a place that simply does a procedure and they are done with you. They care. Sincerely. My previous breasts looked like implants. These, on the other hand, are beautiful!! I literally am in awe of how amazing they look. They not only are fuller, but they look as though no enhancement was done. Now that, my friends, is the work of a skilled, 5-star plastic surgeon. If you want work done well, you go to Dr. Hewell. If you want work done by an amazing staff, you go to Dr. Hewell. If you want to feel comfortable and put any nerves aside, go to Dr. Hewell. Moral of the story - go to Dr. Hewell!!!
