I was a support for one of Dr Jenkins patients and was horrified with how she was treated. Was given an epidural at 9cms because he couldn't be bothered to get out of bed at 4am and then came in at 8:30am saying she wasn't progressing enough and that they would need to put her on syntocinon to speed up the labour. She then was pressured and feared into this route by a horrible Midwife that said they were stupid for questioning him and that they cant expect to know better than an OB. She also said that they should be thankful for the drugs because, and I quote, " We arent in Africa so instead of being in labour for 3 days be thankful we can get your baby out"

The Mum was then belittle by both Dr Jenkins and the Midwife for asking questions and was told that without the drugs she would not be able to give birth and would need a Csection.

I walked away horrified with the way they treated this Mum. Choose your OB carefully and keep in mind an OB that specialises in High Risk pregnancies will look at all their clients the same way.
I would recommend avoiding this OB and Norwest private as much as possible if you want respect and care during your birth.

Rude and arrogant! Not at all interested in his patients and has the most atrocious bedside manner. I developed complications due to his negligence and arrogance! I definitely would never see him again!

Dr Jenkins is one of the best obstetricians in Sydney . He is reliable, has sound knowledge, good communicator, emotionally resilient and copes extremely well under pressure in stressful & , demanding and life threatening situations, with high risk pregnancy, I couldn’t have asked for a better obstetrician on my journey

Dr Jenkins delivered both my children in the last 5 years.
He has a calm, empathetic approach to delivery - and is quick to adjust as complications arise. He made me feel calm and informed at all times, without overwhelming me with details. Ultimately, he facilitated safe deliveries of both my children, and alleviated any anxiety or stress I had of the situation. I highly recommend Dr Jenkins and his practice.

Honestly don’t understand how this so called obstetrician is still operating!! He has destroyed my life and my daughters through his negligence. He is half asleep when you see him

Dr Jenkins delivered my baby 13 years ago and he was dreadful. He told me not to call him when I called distressed about a medical issue. He arrived very very late for the delivery and the midwife was holding off on her instructions to me. The long wait and the pressure of my baby’s head broke my tailbone. He did nothing to prevent tearing and my sister who had 3 children already with another doctor was shocked at his inaction. His repair work was woeful and I had to go to another gynecologist to fix it. He admitted my tailbone fracture only after some weeks. I was in excruciating pain for 8 months. He would not hear I was in pain in hospital and threw me out saying you’ve got too many cooks and cleaners in here it’s time for you to go. I left hospital unable to walk, sit, breathe properly or look after my baby. Do not go to this doctor. It’s so many years later snd I still feel I need to save others from him.

Dr Jenkins is a rude arrogant pig. Broke my wife’s water during a consultation & then wasn’t available for the delivery. Thank god for Dr Bevan Brown who was available at the time & delivered our daughter who is now a beautiful 9 year old. Dr Jenkins didn’t even have the courtesy to come see us or contact us after the birth. Hope he rots. All he cares about is the money.

Dr Jenkins is very professional and very friendly when you get to know him. He always makes I feel at ease & relax after his consultation. He delivered my first daughter and I am going back to him for my second pregnancy. He is the best doctor in my opinion.
