As others have said, Dr. Owais is just about the nicest guy you're likely to ever meet. He talks you through everything he's doing very gently and thoroughly, and is happy to answer any questions you might have. He's been right on time for every appointment I've had with him, and he's very cheerful every time. I haven't had anything more complex than a crown being put on done by him, but he has done a great job with whatever I've needed. I recommend him very highly!

Dr. Owais is the best dentist I ever had. If you ever have been afraid of going to the dentist, Dr. Owais will definitely cure you. I concur with the other comments that I wish I had gone to Dr. Owais all of my life.

I've been going to Dr. Owais since I was a little kid. He is the nicest and friendliest person I have ever met and will make you feel extremely comfortable. I left a voicemail for him on a friday afternoon. I didn't expect him to get back to me until monday but he let me know a few hours later. So dedicated to his patients and such an awesome guy. Hopefully he'll still be around when I have kids because I know that he will be definitely be their dentist :P.

I already thought Dr. Owais was an unbelieveably nice guy -- smiling, gentle, reassuring, caring...and then when he was not able to get to the bottom of my root for a root canal (it ended up taking an endodontist multiple visits as well) he did not charge me for the visit, even after I offered to pay something for all the time he had spent with me! Hope I never have to go to another dentist, I'm a fan for life.

The cavity he filled in for me was entirely painless. He explained what he was doing every step of the way. I wish I had found him 20 years ago. Would have saved me much pain and uncertainty.

Excellent dentist! Saw me for a consult after another dentist told me I had several cavities but couldn't be precise. He looked over my teeth, gave me suggestions for dealing with sensitivity and ultimately said my teeth were fine and needed nothing more. I was very impressed by his professionalism, manner, knowledge, and kindness. I will definitely go back again.

Kind, always accomodating and shows interest when explaining problems. His work is as an artist with perfection. I recommend him to everyone. I have moved 3 times, each time further away from Silver Spring, he is the only Doctor I refuse to change and am willing to travel an hour for.
