Dr. Fein performed two surgeries on me this past summer
What made the outcomes so successful was his planning with doctors in other disciplines, dedication to detail and timely follow up.
He also researched and identified the most amazing vascular surgeon in CT to compliment and
support his work.
As his patient, I don't feel I could have found a more caring and competent doctor

Dr Fein is great! I have been having heel pain for the last year. He was the only doctor that made me pain free. I am able to run again.

Dr. Fein is superb!!! He performed my mother’s surgery and saved her foot. My mother was an admission through the ER at Danbury Hospital and just happened to be assigned to his care. It was truly meant to be and we couldn’t have asked for a better doctor. After her initial surgery, he did everything possible to get her foot to heal without having to do any further surgery. I’m an RN and I know that accomplishing what he did wasn’t easy nor would all doctors do all they could before resorting to surgery as an easy fix. Dr. Fein treats patients and their loved ones like family. He takes his time, gives you his full attention, and has the most amazing bedside manner. He is forthright, but he is able to calm his patient’s fears and cheer them up even when they are facing serious issues. His staff is just as wonderful and willing to do everything they can to accommodate you and help you in every possible way. If you need a podiatrist and value honesty and integrity, there isn’t any one else I’d recommend more than Dr. Fein and the staff at Bethel Podiatry.

I'm so lucky that I was referred to Dr. Fein. I was having a problem for years and bounced from doctor to doctor. I finally asked my family doc who he'd recommend and he told me I should have asked him a long time ago!! He said I should see Dr. Fein and that's who he always recommends. He said that Dr. Fein even did surgery on his wife, and that's how much he trusts him. I was nervous but as soon as I met Dr. Fein I felt at ease. His bedside manner was warm and caring. He looked over all the tests I had done and didn't try to sell me any insets or other stuff. He came up with a diagnosis that was different than the other docs and recommended a treatment plan. After some different treatments and following his recommendations, it took a total of about 3 visits over a few weeks to get rid of the pain I had for YEARS! Now I recommend everyone with a foot or ankle problem see Dr. Fein FIRST!

Dr. Fein was my podiatrist who did bunion surgery on my right foot. Not only was it a disaster, but I ended up having a STAPH INFECTION for 9 months and almost risking losing my leg. He perform procedures when he would have to cut open my foot to restitch the wound that was not healing, he did this with the door open, so patients walking by the office could see, welcoming germ central! Not only this, but I needed 2 emergency surgeries following the initial bunion surgery. I ended up at Danbury hospital EVERYDAY for 9 months to receive IV Picc line antibiotics. Not only did he fail to recognize the real issue, after he did the 2nd surgery, but my bone was eating away at itself, which he missed. I immediately sought treatment else where, and then found out that I had to have a 3rd surgery because there were so many things wrong. I have to say, Dr. Fein was such a disappointment because he is apparently supposed to be one of the best podiatrist in the state. I had my initial surgery July 2014, it's Feburary 2nd 2016, and I'm still trying to get back to normal. Mind you, I'm 28 years old. I really suggest looking elsewhere for foot work. I actually considered suing Dr. Fein because of the malpractice.

overbooks time slots. there were 5 patients all booked for a 1 pm appointment. took about 40 minutes after I was put into holding room before he appeared. he spent about 7 minutes with me. he is probably a decent podiatrist but the scheduling is a big negative.
