Years ago I saw this doctor and he called me a liar, when I said I thought I might have diverticulitus. I changed to an older doc who must have talked to Klaw. Everything I said he analyzed to see if I was lying. He would say, "Well you had a temperature, so your not lying..." Not long after that I had a colonoscopy and found I had severe diverticulosis AND Eschemic coliits. Needles to say, I want no Primary physician now. Klaw's treatment was total abuse.

Dr. Klaw has been my primary physician for a little over a year and I am so thankful to have chosen him to be my doctor. He is knowledgeable and is approachable. Because of his thoroughness, I was diagnosed with a cancer my previous physician did not catch. I like his sense of humor. I love his humanness. Dr. Klaw tells it like it is. My husband also now sees this doctor and both of us feel lucky to have found him. His nurse is great too, always helpful on the phone and in the office setting.

I have been seeing Dr.Klaw for years. He is the best. He has seen me on an emergency basis when I could not get into see my specialist for a serious issue. He saw me right away, got me on the correct medicine. I have personally watched him wheelchair his patient downstairs to French Hospital emergency when hospital staff didn't come to get the guy. He didn't want to keep the poor guy waiting. He is down to earth, has a sense of humor, is not prim and proper, which is great with me. He is from the East coast and definitely not "vanilla" but more "rocky road", which is a good thing. Maybe I can relate to him because I am also from the East coast. I have referred many people to Dr. Klaw and they all like him. Whether or not his personality is everyone's cup of tea, he is an excellent doctor.

The smiley-faced ratings are so glowing they read like they were written by the doctor. The views I experienced are more like the four ratings below. He is so busy typing that he seems not to listen, and he spends time with incoming personal phone calls.

Klaw doesn't listen instead insist he is right and will make personal/unprofessional comment about a patient to him/her. He is Jewisn and observes all Jewish holidays including not being in on Fridays.

GREAT doc. His personality is what we all need to get beyond an obsession with our aches and pains. Fabulous experience again and again. His Nurse Practioner is also excellent; she gets to the root of a problem quickly.

He is a super-smart, super-knowledgeable, funny guy. The commenters below simply didn't understand his sense of humor. He is a very dedicated doctor, concerned about his patients. Lighten up, people!

My wife and I were looking for a new Doctor and Dr. Klaw was recommended by our neighbors. We had our appointments today....one hour each. As we were walking out to the car, we winked at each other...he was great and exactly what we were looking for. He took notes,asked a lot of guestions and gave us the best physical we've had in years....very professional.
