Appointment scheduled for 8:50am however had to wait for over 1 hour before seeing the doctor…mentioned the fact that I had waited so long the doctor suggested that I see someone else next time….great suggestion….

Dr. Goldbert has been my doctor for more than 20 years, he is great ! The staff terrible.Today 15Mar.I arrived 15 Mins before my appointment as usual; the staff were most focused on telling me to put the mask over my nose; they talked behind the glass and not concerned if I heard them or not, the girl in the window said I could not wait inside and would have to wait OUTSIDE OR WALK AROUND,,then she was joined by Christina who emphasized I could not sit... I showed them my cane, I have osteoarthritis and knee pain . I noted and asked why I could not sit when there were available sits and other patient were seated ...then everyone in the reception stood and looked at me with a look of question in support of Christina ..I received no courtesy, no consideration nor Customer Service, Dr, Goldberg is great and I would not want to change doctor but the staff are incredibly , absolutely and unbelievably terrible..REFUSING ME TO WAIT IN THE RECEPTION WHEN THERE WERE FREE SEATS AND ACTUALLY REFUSED ME ENTRY DESPITE MY DISABILITY,,, THEY JUST DD NOT CARE AT ALL ABOUT ME, A PATIENT. In fact after I left I noted the door had been closed A Gentleman opened the door and cane out along with Christina and I questioned Christina why I was REFUSED entry,..I thought the gentleman was a Manager..no, he said he was a patient, he helped me and pacified me and accompanied me to the area ,,, this was after I had been refused entry and waiting outside, Thanks to the kind gentleman ,, the office staff shockingly and outrageous . discriminated me, I was Public Relations Officer /Customer Representative for two major International Airlines so I know what I am talking about, I reported my experience to Dr, Goldberg . The way I was treated by Christina was totally unacceptable and not fair to their Employer Doctor Goldberg

Impossible to deal with staff not respecting of patient needs. Getting through to anyone is a challenge.

Dr. Goldberg is ways very professional and very helpful with answering any questions I may have. I enjoy my visit with him.

Dr. Goldberg is excellent for surgery of cataract. Also the optometrists for measuring and checking the results under his supervision are doing outstanding work. However, his secretarial system for arranging the appointments and their communication with the patients on telephone are less than perfect.

DR. Goldberg carried out cataract surgery to both eyes and all I can say is that the entire experience from start to finish was outstanding! His office staff, his OR staff are all highly professional, good natured and supremely competent. As for Doctor Goldberg ... one visit with him and your anxiety melts away. His calm demeanour and confidence is infectious! I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Goldberg to anyone having cataract surgery. He is the best!

This is not so much about Dr. Goldberg but about his clinic, North Shore Eyes. I've been a patient for a number of years now and I cannot believe how many staff changes they go through. Everytime I go someone or several staff are gone and new very young staff( with no ophthalmology training!!!!) are there. I do not believe they have ANY long term staff left working there. There has to be something wrong when such a long standing clinic has such an extremely high turnover of staff and seem unable to be able to hire anyone with any previous experience. I no longer feel comfortable going there.

Dr Goldberg and his team do a remarkable job, in all respects. Both my wife and I needed both eyes operated on for cataracts and we have super vision back for distance, with readers for close work. A great experience from start to finish and well recommended for anyone nervous and requiring cataract surgery, Dr Goldberg is likely amongst the very best in his field, thanks and regards, Bob and Rosette Rogers

I had cataract surgery on both eyes about three years ago and was thrilled with the op and the results. I can still read tiny print without glasses. I found Dr Goldberg extremely helpful, professional and efficient. A friend is about to undergo cataract surgery with him after my recommendation.
