My father saw him for years. He was always there for my father until the day my father passed away. Dr. Kraus is a very good doctor.

Dr. Kraus is an awesome doctor. Stays within his scope and is highly efficient. My entire family goes to him and he always makes time for his patients even if its a last minute appointment. He has had the same assistant for literally decades and they make an incredible team. I'm not sure what experience other reviewers here have had, but you do not see an internist for joint pain or PTSD, you see specialists as they could both be more problematic than what meets the eye. Furthermore, Kraus is highly respected in his field, by every medical professional I know. He is very direct, but please do not mistake that for rudeness or lack of compassion for his patients.

A family-friend doctor referred me to Dr. Kraus when I needed a new PCP about 10 yrs ago. He was rude & doesn't want to hear what you have to say. I have been on verge of finding new dr. but don't seem to do it until I need to see someone right away. His assts come and go (one finally told me she was the only one in the group who would work for him, and even she had completely left the practice twice--but came back.) Not sure it he is worth it, and may just take referrals from friends instead of other drs. Negative reviews on this site pretty accurate according to my experience.

Best doctor ever! Gets right to the point. Even though he is a very busy man, he still makes time for all his patients. He does numerous amounts of pro bono work. He is very respected in the community. I would never see another doctor.

Poor quality of service from a family of good physicians. Dr. Kraus needs to remember the patient on how he attends to their needs.

Dr. Kraus works within a limited spectrum. Two family members have seen him, and he referred to other doctors for relatively simple concerns such as mild knee pain and short-term anxiety related to a moderately traumatic experience. Poor bedside manner and limited benefit. Do not refer to him anymore.

This is (or was) my Mom's doctor. He is very rude to patients, family members and his staff. When my Mom was seen by someone else in the same group, he recommended different treatments for her problems and she was feeling better. Dr. Kraus came in and said all that was wrong and changed all the treatments back to what he was doing. She asked to see the other doctor on a permanent basis and was told that they didn't do that in their group and that she should just find another group. My Mom has actually witnessed Dr. Kraus make an employee cry in front of patients by berating her. I have never talked to another medical professional (in other medical offices, hospitals, rehab facilities, etc.) in Memphis who had one nice thing to say about this man. Recently, a physical therapist for my Mom who has worked with Dr. Kraus before said the man has a "god" complex and I think that pretty much sums him up perfectly.
