Spends a maximum of three minutes with you. Makes you feel like wherever he's off to after he's done with you is a lot more important than you are.

I was referred to Dr. Falsone by my family doctor. My first appt was on a Tuesday. I didn't keep track of the time so unable to say if he was punctual, but I didn't wait long once the CMA took all the info. He spent only a few minutes with me and immediately prescribed a med & said I will need a stress test. It seems odd that given I was a new patient he only spent a few minutes with me. My insurance wouldn't cover the med he prescribe so I'm still waiting . The 2nd med he prescribed (late afternoon Fri) for me was a 75mg rather than the 20mg he initially prescribed, so I reiterated to the nurse that I didn't want to take that med at that high dosage and advised I'd like the generic of the original med prescribed as that will be covered by my insurance and the dosage was near what he originally prescribed. I had already given this info to his CMA the day prior. It's now been 4 days and I won't hear back from him/his office until Monday which will make it 7 days since he prescribed a med . At my appt he said my blood pressure was (190/99) in the Stroke zone. So why is it taking 7 days to get a med? Doesn't seem like it's all that important to him & his staff. I stated "I hope I don't keel over before I get the med" to his staff. They said, "I hope not". If my condition is so drastic, why is he NOT making it a priority? Is there some reason he doesn't want to prescribe a generic to the brand name he prescribed? It truly doesn't make sense to me. Also want to state that while the CMA was nice, but there's a breakdown in communication as I called after hours after speaking to my pharma thinking I could get her extension, but their phone system doesn't work that way. So I left a message with the after hours service. When I didn't hear back from the CMA the following day, I called her again. She said she never received my message. ?? I advised the CMA that I did NOT want to start on the med with a 75mg dosage and gave her 2 other med's my insurance would cover. But rather than listen to what I was saying, the doctor prescribed the very med @ 75mg I specifically told the CMA I DID NOT want to take! I sincerely hope that Monday will bring about better communication and my RX will be filled so I can start it before I have a stroke or heart attack.

Doesn’t spend time with you or listen to your concerns. He may be a great doctor but it’s hard to tell because he doesn’t even really check you during office visits.

Obviously this doctor has a lot of patients. He rushes you out of his office, provides a prescription drug and sends you on your way. You are rushed out of his office which causes you to feel he has other things to get done.

Office exams by the doctor are minimal, if any, and your visit is rushed.
