I have been going to this office for years and have only seen a doctor once. You are directed to the nurse practitioner for visits. She tried to do a uterine biopsy that she wasn't able to complete successfully and I wonder if the skill of a doctor would have been successful. Good luck trying to see one! The office gave me another patients paperwork and when I called attention to it I was told that I SAID that was my name. I think I know my name! My paperwork had wrong meds and dates on it. Office seems chaotic and staff confused and rude. In an attempt to streamline procedures, visits are abrupt and you leave feeling uncared for. This will be my last visit.

I had a positive home pregnancy test, so, I called Dr. Uzbay's office from a list through my health insurance directory (I'm new to the area). Even though I explained to the receptionist that I was 35+ and a type 2 diabetic, the soonest they could get me in was three weeks later. I ended up miscarrying prior to my appointment (shocker). But, I kept my appointment because I was due for a checkup/smear/etc. and wanted to make sure everything was ok. Then I got the bill for over $400 because they misbilled my insurance. Thought that was high for what amounted to a routine well-woman visit, but they straightened it up with my carrier, so I didn't think much else of it.

Fast forward to a year later, when I called for another appointment because the hubs and I wanted to give pregnancy another try. This time, they scheduled me two months out with a nurse practitioner. So I went on their website to check her out and discovered, to my horror, that I had previously been seen by a midwife! They send a midwife in for a high risk pregnancy? And, a Papp smear doesn't cost hundreds of dollars and no midwife has the credentials to back up that kind of rate so I'm considering a call to my insurance carrier to make sure THEY know who was billing them. Cancelled my appointment with the nurse practitioner and will be seen by Dr. Frieda Lewis, per my PCP's recommendation.

Dr. Uzbay is wonderful. The entire staff from the girls at the front desk to the medical assistants are attentive and kind. I have my first child last year and Dr. Uzbay delivered via emergency csection. Everything went smoothly and she made me feel like I was her only concern. During my pregnancy any time i called after hours with a question or concern, Dr. Uzbay would call me back within minutes. She never took any of my fears lightly and was not shy about sending me to the ER for testing if needed. I felt so comfortable there. I am now pregnant again and looking forward to my first appointment next week with Suzanne. She is also wonderful. I hate to see these negative ratings and have no idea how people could feel so negatively about understanding woman. I recommend to everyone I know.

I have never seen Dr. Uzbay, but I've been going to this practice for a year. I've only seen Louise who I felt ignored my needs and questions. Basically, she refused to listen to me when I told her that I did not want children and only wanted to talk about birth control. She insisted that I get a mammogram even though I am under 40, with no family history, and my insurance does not cover it until 45. The office staff has been nice to me, however they put my insurance into the system wrong and were charging me the wrong copay for my first several appointments. I usually have to wait a long time when I go in, and I feel that they are not really interested in me as a patient because I am not there to have a baby. I will be switching as soon as I am able.

I was a patient of Dr Uzbay for over 10 years and always thought she was wonderful. I delivered all of my children through her practice. My first two c-sections went very well with no issues. Unfortunately, on my third pregnancy I was told she was out of town and would need to see a covering physician. I had a very rough c-section that took much longer than expected. I saw dr uzbay quickly the next day and she said everything went well. The next day I almost passed out in the bathroom. I was in EXTREME pain and she and the nurses said it was gas. I was discharged. Every day for the next 4 days I called the office to say I was not feeling well and the only answer was that it was gas. She finally said to go to er. I went to 2 emergency rooms and needed to go into surgery immediately for a hole in my bladder. She knew I went to er and did not call to check on me until 3 days later :( I was heart broken she did not check to see if I was ok the next day. I guess she is too busy to care :(

Terrible!! Staff is awful. They are rude, they rush you after they kept you waiting. And DO NOT have an emergency...they will see you a week from Thursday! Thanks. I ended up in the ER because they wouldn't see me. I should be thankful I was in the ER after reading her other reviews!

Do not see Louise Saunders, NP. She is completely incompetent and should not be seeing pregnant woman in the early phases. I had seen her for a miscarriage in Feb, ended up having a ruptured hemorrhagic cyst a couple of weeks after that. I was in extreme pain as my abdomen was filled with blood and she blew me off stating that my "uterus was shrinking" after the misacarriage. Turns out the cyst was on my miscarriage scan and she never picked it up. Then, pregnant again, I gave her the benefit of doubt and she walks in the room stating that my last pap was abnormal (wrong patient). Then I had to explain that I was there because I was pregnant. I had blood work done because of a genetic clotting disorder and had to call the office 3 times before getting my results and she never treated me for it anyway...ended up treating myself. She is totally incompetent and scary!! Do not see her. I have heard good things about the CNM and Dr. Uzbay though.
