I have used Dr Figert in the past for my colonoscopy es and had very good results. My husband recently had 14"of his colon removed and heard how awful it was going to be from others. Because his surgeon was Dr. Figert this surgery was done laproscopically with great results. I would not use anyone else for these procedures. She explains EVERYTHING and answers all our questions in terms we understand.

She is "supposedly" a suegeon who does not know how to treat patients. It was very obvious that she is a "****" doctor towards Asians. She clearly did not care about their patient. I was in their during late afternoon and she was very tired and spent less that 2 minutes discussing my problem. I must have spend 45 minutes in the waiting room. My advise to you, Go to another better Gasteroenterologist!!!!!!

Easy-going manner which I really enjoyed. Easy to talk with and answered my questions. I felt confident in her at every turn. All procedures went well. I had a lap-Nissen and have recovered very well.

Very scatterbrained, unorganized. Too confident of herself and too quick to boast, I should have listened to my instincts and gone elsewhere for my procedures. after removing a cyst and proforming a colonoscopy, I ended up in the hospital for 11 days with a puncture in my colon and left with a near gang-green infection in the incision of the cyst removal. It was obvious to my family by the comments of her partner who operated on me to repair her damage, that she had no business proforming the colonoscopy to begin with. As scary and as irritating as that it, what bothers me most was the way she approached me in the hospital after the 2nd surgery, seeming almost too appologetic and scared as if it had happened before, THEN, though I repeatedly complained about pain in the incision area(and she even checked it herself twice and said it was fine after a half a*s look. It was almost gang green! Then she wouldnt even write off her own charges from my bill, for EITHER surgery!I owed out of pkt
