Dr. Gleysteen is one of the best doctor's I have ever had. She is thorough, very knowledgeable, compassionate and exhibits sound judgment as a GP. The staff at the Washington Square Group are very helpful and nice!

Have used Dr. Gleysteen for 9 years including a heart attack and shortly after that, a layoff and loss of insurance. She has been great, professional and went out of her way to help me through my non-insured period. I'll gladly stay on as a loyal customer and highly recommend her. The one less than perfect mark was the fact that there has been some turnover in staff and some of my favorites are gone. I don't know why and as a group practice, she's not the only physician responsible. So I deducted a single star.

Glossed over test results and told me I needed high-end follow-up testing that freaked me out...which upon investigation (at my request) I turned out NOT to need. Had she less rushed and been more careful, my whole scare could have been avoided. I LEFT her practice meediayely after that.

Suzanne is the best! She dedicates herself to her patients and always manages to make time for me no matter what. Her email responses are timely and helpful..I wouldn't see anybody else! Her diagnostic ability is excellent and even if she is fast, she knows what she's doing and that's all that maters.

Love, love, love Dr. Gleysteen!! She has been helping me through a difficult time, coordinating referrals, tests, etc. She is masterful in managing it all- in person, w/ e-mail and phone. I'm fortunate to have her as my MD. She genuinely cares about helping patients get well-what more can we as for in a doctor?

I am a long time patient of Suzanne's and believe her to be one of the best. I travel from another state to see her and have for the past 11 or so years. She's well worth it, yes, she is quick but she doesn't waste your time either. Her timeliness getting back to you via email is almost unheard of - it's simply amazing that she handles her email as well as she does. She also follows up on everything, if she tells you she will get a referral out, enough said, it's as good as done. She's a keeper!

Dr. Gleysteen, is my doctor and has been for 16 years. She took care of me while she was a resident at Beth Is. and many doctors (male) told me I had the best doctor at the hospital. I was very ill and that comforted me. Suzanne is fast but she is thoughtful and kind and smart.

I have been a patient of hers for years and think she is extremely competent. No, she doesn't hold your hand-- she is in a hurry because there are lots of people waiting to see her but, she is very smart and works hard to take care of her patients. The best way to reach her is by email. You can ask questions any time of day or night, and receive an answer within hours, often avoiding a visit to the office or a long wait over the phone. If you want to be coddled go see your Mom -- she'll make you some soup. Dr. Gleysteen will make you better.

She has NO bed side manner. I didn't like her and left her as soon as I could! If you like someone who rushes...go see her!
