Dr. Hurwitz did a great job for me at Summerfield Post Acute. He saw me regularly, was on top of things and was generally great to deal with. Kudos to the Summerfield staff as well.

Quality care. I was fortunate I had him also out of network. His biller said she had instructions from the doctor to adjust down bills if issues like this arise. Either way, I valued his care.

I am not a Geriatric patient. I do not have Medicare. I have insurance but Dr Hurwitz is OUT is network. So I have been given Big invoices - bills that I cannot pay because I am on disability for Cancer. His office threatened to send the Bill's to a collection agency. I did not ask for his services a d I certainly did not know he was out of network. This is torture, not medicine. His web side says he accepts Blue Cross and yet I am being charged out of Network. And he did very little work for the large bills.
